				 41% of food bank users are children. That's 325,390 kids that use food banks regularly every year in Canada.
Over one million children- almost 1 in every 6 children – live in poverty in Canada. In first nations communities the child poverty rate is higher: 1 in every 4 children.
Canada's child poverty rate of 17% is three times as high as the rates of Sweden, Norway or Finland.

Together, let's help cut out child poverty and suffering here in Canada and abroad.

REDKEN has joined with ONEXONE for our annual, national, Cut-A-Thon fundraiser. Every person that gets their hair cut during this event is helping a child to live a better life. $2 raised can feed a child for a day.

ONEXONE is a non-profit Foundation committed to supporting, preserving and improving the lives of children at home in Canada and around the world. Through an annual campaign, ONEXONE is dedicated in helping create a world where children can live safely and with dignity. ONEXONE allocates directly all the funds to children charities according to their projects. Some of the local Canadian charities supported this year include: Tummy Tamers, Summer Day Camp Adventure, Blessings in a BackPack, Dreams Take Flight, Share the Warmth, etc...

For the fourth year, Redken Canada is proud to partner with ONEXONE, with the specific goal of helping fight child poverty in Canada and around the world. All of the proceeds raised through salon Cut-a-thons will go entirely to feeding children here in Canada through carefully selected provincial and national Programs. We truly believe that when children eat breakfast they can learn better in school and as a result, live a better life. You can help by making an appointment at our participating Redken salons from 1rst June to 30th September. You have to get your hair cut anyways, why not schedule it during this week and have money donated to a great cause?
