THE NEW VOLUME

FULL-BODIED SHAPES WITH A MODERN TWIST

This unkempt, 60s-inspired volume at Roberto Cavalli worked perfectly with the collection’s boho influence on the runway.To get the look:

Step 1: Apply rootful 06 root lifting spray to wet hair to add height to the silhouette.

Step 2: Create loose waves by wrapping sections around your fingers as you blow dry on a low-setting.

Step 3: Part hair in center.

Step 4: Backcomb at the top of the crown to create extra body and mist on forceful 23 super strength finishing spray.

Guido Palau: Biography

In January 2005 Redken, a leader in backstage beauty and editorial, announced a partnership with Guido Palau, as Redken Creative Consultant. Redken has been building a foundation in the fashion and editorial worlds for many years now. We are thrilled to align with Guido Palau, one of the industry's most respected and creative stylists, and look forward to an exciting partnership, states Pat Parenty, senior vice president and general manager for Redken.

Today, Guido is considered one of the world's most inventive conceptual hairstylists. His radically expressive style can be seen on the runways in New York, Milan and Paris, and in top advertising campaigns and editorial work for such noted magazines as Italian, French, British and American Vogue, W, Allure, i-D, POP, Another Magazine and Harper's Bazaar. He is most recognized for his work with designers Marc Jacobs, Prada, Calvin Klein, Versace, JilSander and Alexander McQueen.

Heads Hair by Guido, which was published in November 2000 is his first book, it is composed of over 70 head-shots taken during the last decade. Clients include Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Benetton, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Fendi, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton, Luella Barley, Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Miu Miu, Nicole Farhi, Prada, Ralph Lauren, The Gap, Versace and Roberto Cavalli.
