This comes in a black can and is 10.5 oz of spray which is great since I habe so much hair so I know this will last!I love this product so much!I tested it out yesterday since I have a hard time keeping thus frizzy down ...I sprayed my hair and within seconds it's a strong hold!my hair was not going to frizz up and it was 80° out and it stayed perfect!I definitely will be buying this and recommending!especially since my hair is super thick and down past my butt!this is a super strong hold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently sampled the Redken 28 High Hold Control Hairspray courtesy of Redken through BzzAgent's sampling program, and I'm very impressed with the results. The fragrance of the Hairspray isn't overpowering like some other products I've tried in the past, and with only a few sprites, my hair stays put all day. I have very thick and heavy hair and finding a product that can keep my hair in place can be a difficult task. Redken's Hairspray kept my hair in place, and there was no sticky residue or bulls up after using it. In very pleased with the results and would Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Hairspray that works with all hair types, especially thick and heavy ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this high-hold hairspray. It gives me maximum hold but is very lightweight and does not weigh my hair down. It is perfect for holding my curls all day. In this Alabama humidity it is very hard to find a hairspray that will lock out the frizz and not give you the residue or flaking that other hairsprays give you. Redken 28 High Hold Hairspray works great and keeps my hair frizz free but still touchably soft. It has a light sandalwood scent that smells amazing but is not overpowering. I have tried a lot of different hairsprays and hair products but this one is definitely going to be part of my hair care routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very long, thick hair that usually requires ridiculous amounts of hair spray to hold a curl. This product is a game-changer. Not only did it not have a strong scent but I was able to use a minimal amount to get a great hold.
I used it to prep my hair before using the curling iron. I lightly sprayed it and was SOOO impressed by how well it worked. It didn't make my hair have a sticky, gross texture that most hair sprays do. I was able to do a quick spray for each strand.
After I finished, I gently brushed out the curls and did a few finishing sprays. It was perfect. The curls lasted overnight and were still soft and flexible. I can't recommend it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally with how thin and straight my hair is curls never stay well even though I always use hairspray. This Redken Control Addict hairspray really held my curls in place for a photoshoot! I was very impressed and even the photographer was blown away my how my curls looked.
The can is easy to hold, and sprays well from all angles which is especially helpful!
The button is easy to push down but not in a way that would be too easy.
The hairspray lasted me a very long time while I wore it. I would say about 24 hours (then I took a shower).
It washed out well and my hair felt great afterwards.
Over all I really liked this hairspray and would recommend it to others!

It has a really nice floral musk scent, making it great for males or females. It had a nice strong hold without being crunchy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Again this is a free product given to me for a review in exchange! I have type four hair, and I have fine hair that gets pretty frizzy. When I saw that it helps control with humidity I was excited! I used the spray on my hair in the morning before going outside. The texture of spray itself is kind of a tacky feeling, but nevertheless I still sprayed it on my hair. My hair was already soft but the hairspray kind made some parts of my hair was tacky, crunchy, and dry. I think it's because of the alcohol in the spray, I'm not sure. Will not use again, I think I'll give it to a friend or family member who uses hairsprays like this or has straight hair!

I have fairly long hair that I wear up in a bun or ponytail every day, however I have quite a few shorter pieces all around that like to stand on end, so I have to spray those to keep from looking like a disheveled mess. Other hairsprays that I have used either don't hold these pieces in place at all or don't hold them in place all day, Redken's Humidity Control Hairspray not only holds them in place all day, but even keeps them in place on the soggiest days when I forget my umbrella and rain coat! This product is truly amazing! As an added bonus, it smells great too!

I was really excited to see how well it would hold up on a full school day. It doesn't get that super sticky feel which is great, and while it does harden, it doesn't make your hair rock hard to the point of no movement. Redkin products are all top of the line and great for your hair. We live in Florida and this definitely controlled the humidity poof we usually get as soon as we walk outside. By the time my daughter got home the curls were obviously looser but still intact enough to look really beautiful. I'd definitely keep purchasing this product.

It's been a real lifesaver for me lately. This spray's got some serious staying power, which is awesome for me as a busy moms trying to keep it together.
The only thing I have noticed is that it can attract a bit of dust and dirt of sprayed on too much. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. But honestly, it's still a must-have in my daily routine.
Would I buy this product? Definitely yes!

Why Would You Ever Change a Great Product?

After searching for through many brands of hairspray I found Redken Control Addict 28. I have allergies, but wanted a strong, humidity resistant spray and found it with this product. I loved it and have used it for quite some time, until yesterday when I purchased a can and when I returned home, saw they have changed the fragrance to one I can not use. I'm so upset and now will need to start my search over again! Why would Redken ever change such a good product? Does every company think women want strong, unhealthy, perfumed products on their hair? I certainly don't! Please change it back or create an unscented spray!

I can style my hair and spray just a little bit of this hairspray and my style will stay for hours. I love how this is anti humidity and is a fine aerosol form so it disperses nicely. While it slightly smells like hairspray and doesn't smell perfumy, the scent does seem to fade away nicely. I have shoulder length colored treated hair and it works well after I crimp, beach wave, curl or do a simple blow out.

I used it for work and she used it for homecoming… it held us both all day with no problem. It has a slight hair spray smell to it but it does what it says. I would recommend brushing and or washing your hair after you are done for the day because it will get stiff like. I would def recommend this hair spray…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this hairspray. I use it almost daily. The hairspray holds hair in place. It does not have a touchable hold, but I like my hair to be like this. It's great for curly hair that you want to lock in curls so they don't get frizzy. It's also great for keeping root volume.
I will buy this going forward and would definitely recommend this product to others. I would compare this type of hold to Aussie 24/hour hold.

This is like glue in hairspray form. If I have to do my hair in the morning but I need it to still be looking good that evening OR if I know there’s going to be rain/humidity throughout the day this is what I use to guarantee I don’t look like a wet mop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to try this product, as I need hairspray on a daily basis to tame my frizzy hair. However, I was hoping this hairspray would be different from others on the market as it claims to be "weightless and brushable" but it was anything but that. It was very stiff where I applied it (to the crown of my head) and although it held my hair, I attempted to move it to the side a little and there was no way. It was sticky and tied down to my head. I think its ok for a really strong hold but you can't try to style it once applied. I received this product for free for my review

I think it's a little too drying for colder months, but I will definitely purchase again, especially during the summer to test true humidity holds.

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
