[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved using the Redken Acidic Leave-In Treatment! I used this product following the Redken Acidic Bonding Curls Shampoo and Conditioner. I have long hair so I used more than a quarter sized amount on damp hair after washing and conditioning. I used my fingers to distribute the product making sure not to disrupt my curl pattern. The product smelled nice but was not very strong. I used it alone but also tried it with mousse afterward. Both ways worked perfectly. It has the consistency of a lotion and worked through the hair easily. Did not leave any color or residue. It was not heavy and did not weigh my hair down at all. I blow dried my hair using a diffuser after applying the product and my curl pattern stayed intact. No frizz. My curls looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again!!!

It made my hair dramatically less coarse to touch. My hair is curly and FRIZZY! I've struggled my entire life and have hated my hair. A few years back, I started trying all sorts of products in my hair. Either they don't work or my hair looks very greasy. I think this leave in is a great addition to a wash day. Alone, it did a good job for about 6 hrs, after that my curls got a little unruly. I would recommend adding a few pumps of a light curl creme with 1 pump of a hair oil to keep the look all day! I definitely will be buying this again!!!

I wanted to give a honest review so I waited. The shampoo is nice, nothing extremely special. The conditioner is very thick, so thick I found it a little hard to spread through my long curly locks without using a huge amount. But the standout is the leave in treatment! I have never had my hair this soft from just one use of ANY product. And I have tried many. I usually use a spray leave in, but this cream makes my curls so, so soft, even the next day. It also helps with the curl definition. I absolutely love it! I will be purchasing when I run out. I do find all 3 products work well together and do notice a difference when used that way vs. using with my normal shampoo and conditioner. Received from Bzzagent but comments are honestly my own.

They haven't bounced back and I've washed and feel cleansed my hair a few times. I fear it will have to grow out to come back. The scent is also a really strong, cheap synthetic perfume. I wish this would have worked for my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I am multicultural, mostly Puerto Rican, Italian, a native American. I have Extremely thick, courser textured and curly/very curly hair. After washing and conditioning I then used Redken acidic bonding curls leave in treatment- I worked in throughout my hair little amounts in hair sections at a time then once completed a took a bit more and scrunched it throughout my hair as well. I let it dry naturally by doing the plopping method and it worked not only as a noticeably nourishing treatment ( I could work through hair effortlessly during application no usual snagging and breaking of highlighted hair, but once dry hair was soft and frizz free curly) it had worked as some what of a curl cream/product. The only other thing I had to do to style was spray with a very small amount of curl reviver scrunch and my curls have been good for 3 days now. I used to have to load my hair with product to get the same effects, not any more thanks to Redken Acidic Bonding Curls!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After shampoo & conditioner I applied on wet hair, starting from ends - up, but never on the scalp (do not know if that's really good technique but since I use to struggle with greasy scalp) when it is almost dry, I rubbed some serum. I let it dry naturally. Overall I love it!

After using the curly girl method, I applied a small amount of this product in my hair before my gel or any other products. This product helped to ensure my curls maintained their shape and definition throughout the day. Use this product alongside your normal routine to help define your curl pattern and train your hair!

I highly recommend this product if you have curly hair that is frizzy and sometimes unmanageable, this product here will tame your curls. I use this product every time I use the acidic bonding curl shampoo and conditioner, it has a great smell and the texture of the leave-in treatment is a nice texture it's not too thick and not too creamy and it doesn't weigh your hair down. My curls feel lightweight, bouncy and so refresh!

In fact, it works so well that I doubt that I will ever purchase anything else as it's nothing short of amazing. Before using this treatment, I wash and condition my hair with RedKen's Acidic Bonding Curls Shampoo and Conditioner. After, I apply about two medium dollops throughout my entire hair and lightly work it through. From the moment I apply it, I can start to see it working as it seems to effortlessly define and hydrate my curls. Once my hair has air dried, I'm left with healthy curls that feel full of life without any heavy, weighed-down feeling. I grew up in a family where I was the only one that had curly hair so I had to learn on my own how to style it properly and have experimented with so many different products. I absolutely love this one! It leaves my curls separated, bouncy, well defined, and still very soft to the touch. I actually put it to the test and slept on it for 3 days and it still looked flawless. I recommend using the a pea size amount of the Acidic Bonding Curls Silicone Free Leave in Treatment after for a soft, light weight curl. I used the Acidic Bonding Curls Conditioner prior to the leave in treatment and felt that gave my usually unruly curls a tame soft bounce. Redken warns that the acid may cause sunburn and to take extra precautions while in the sun. I personally did not have any issues and tend to burn prior to tanning. I love the transparency Redken takes accountability for. Bottom line - another great product!

It seems to sit a liiitle heavy however, I have a 2c/3a curl pattern without product and can get closer to a 3a with good stuff. This set of acidic bonding curls shampoo and conditioner then leave in treatment plus my usual curl mousse leaves me with lovely looking 3a curls. I love the smell. A little sweet and kind of fruity but in the way over powering. Just really lovely and fresh. I've used the entire set for about a week before reading the review. By Thursday a co worker in my office asked me what I'd been using on my hair and told me my curls were looking so good and smooth! Essentially, it is dead. A few days prior to trying out this line, I got in a hot tub and after, my hair was left a stringy, gummy mess. I thought that was the end, was even thinking of going back to my natural hair color because I thought the damage was irreversible. My curls wouldn't form, my hair was dull, overall horrible. I use K18 and thought that was the best Im going to get because those products are amazing in their own right. However- throw in the Redken Curly Hair Acidic Bonding Trio and "WOAHHHHH WOW" is what comes to mind first. This leave in conditioner moisturizes, tames frizz and flyaways like some magic potion that's been recently revealed-my hair is so soft, conditioned, tamed- dare I say beautiful!!! I have found my magical potions and I won't let my hair go without them! You simply cant see any damage- it just "poofed" out of existence!!! My curls are so defined after using these Redken products. They are now very bouncy and happy curls. I did not realize how much I was neglecting my curls until I started using these products. The leave in treatment is good and it adds a lot of definition to my hair. This product is great because I no longer need to use as much hair gel to keep my hair looking neat all day. This product keeps the curls defined even after going about your day. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 starts is because it can be a bit heavy if you use too much so if you do want ti try this product just make sure you use only a little. I do still recommend it but I also wanted to caution anyone that tends to use a lot of hair products.

I usually shampoo at night so in the morning I just reset my hair and reactivated the product and t then styled as usual. I will say for my fine hair I think I need to use a little less mouse & gel as the leave in seemed to give it some hold. I will definitely keep playing with it!

Extremely thick texture with no scent, worked it into my curls and combed through, I found my hair wouldnt fully dry due to the weight of the product, instead of being left with beautiful curls I was left with residue weighted hair that looked extremely dirty. Clearly this was not the correct product for my hair.
