Pommade d’argile Redken Brews

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clay pomade gives my hair a different look than gel. I am very happy about that because now my hair has volume and texture. By texture I mean, my hair looks dry and not wet like the gel results. As far as hold, its holding my hair in place very nicely. I like the way it looks and am very happy with the results. My hair is no longer flat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the product has a very pleasant smell. It's masculine and approachable. The texture is light and easy to apply. Although it is light, I was surprised how little product was needed. I have coarse, thick hair and was still able to use minimal product to create a look. The hold also lasted surprisingly well. The product easily washed off my hands and hair. I was not thrilled with the styling it provided, however. While I was able to create a look, it is not strong enough to structure or move my hair as I would prefer without having to use a copious amount of product. This product is better suited for people with thinner and soft hair.

The first one I tried was a completely natural one but even though I liked the composition, it did not have great hold. While this did not have the natural ingredients, it did what it was supposed to do and extremely well! I really enjoyed how it made my hair feel and look. I have very curly hair and this did a good job of handling that. To top it all off, the scent was great too! One thing to keep in mind would be that this pomade will stay in your hair until you wash it. If you regularly wash your hair, this will not be an issue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome clay pomade. I really enjoyed using this product. I think it's really different than a lot of the products that I've used so far. I don't really use pomades and clays tend to be dry or thick and don't spread very well. However this product spread very easily and was realitvy matte for the most part. I think there was some slight sheen to it, but nothing that made your hair greasy or overly shiny. The instructions say it can be applied wet, but I think it worked best after blow drying and applied completely dry. Clay products tend to get a wierd texture when applied wet I think. Overall there was great hold and I only did a slight spray of hair spray to get some hold to it.

Even with a Halloween attire on and with the wind last night, this Pomade held its own. I love that it doesn't have a shine and it's stable in that sense. It does a great job at holding and isn't messy.

The only thing I would prefer is a smoother finish rather than a gritty finish but overall it is a great product. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im new to pomade so was excited to try it. I have short hair so I dont need that much to be able to comb my hair back and it looks smooth. The only thing that I didnt give it 5 stars was that to me my hair seemed oily/waxy. Like I said im new to pomade maybe thats the way it suppose to be.

As a man who uses hair products almost daily, I see immediately the quality of this product. However, I have course and curly hair that responds better to conditioning products rather than thick hold products such as clay, so I did not have the target experience. This product holds extremely well and is dry, not greasy. For my hair it makes it appear too wild and unkempt because it's naturally curly. I will give to a friend who likes clay pomades instead.
