[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the name Redken Brews for this product because it sounds like it is for a man. Also I like this product a lot because I felt it had a good scent and with the texture pomade I felt it did a great job at helping me style my hair and I like how the pomade didn't feel greasy when having it in my hair compared to other products I have used. I would say I felt this pomade worked a lot better than other products I have used in the past and I would for sure buy this Redken Product in the future. Also I was aware of Redken products but I was not aware of a Redken men's line and I will for sure recommend this Redken product to others.

Best Pomade ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Redken Brews Texture Pomade on my hair after every hair wash. This pomade contains a few minerals salts which is great for grip and texture. The hair felt volumized and it held my hair strongly with great texture and matte finish.
I would definitely buy this product and recommend anyone reading this review to try at least once,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Redkin Brew Texture Pomade (Outplay). The scent was good and it kept my hair in place all day. I also liked that it gave my hair some much needed texture. I think it would be great on all hair types. I will recommend it to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used many, many different types of pomade on my hair and the Redken Brews Outplay is definitely one of the best ones I've used. I've used other Redken products in the past but never the Brews line, it's quickly becoming my favorite line of products. The pomade keeps my hair in place and gives it a little texture while not feeling greasy at all. I'm a firefighter and we wear ball caps throughout most of the day off and on and the Outplay Pomade lasts through the on/offs of the hat. I like the smell of the pomade and it takes very little to keep my hair in place, which means my bottle will last a long time, I like that! Great value and I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has always grown a rough wiery mustache and beard. it was so rough feeling that he was thinking about shaving it off until he tried this free sample from Viewpoints. He says that it's not sticky and has a pleasant scent. He wants me to buy him a stock of the Redkin Brews Texture Pomade. He's already recommended it to all his friends and family who have beards and mustache. We wish we would have known about this amazing product earlier!

Great alternative to hair gels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving this product. It's my daily go to for styling my hair. In the past, I used to use some hair gel that could hold my hair in a certain style. Worked tremendously well in terms of holding it in place but it would cause my hair to dry out. Conditioners helped a little but it would require another application of the hair gel. Felt like it was a slippery slope for me in terms of maintaining a balance of healthy hair and styling. Since using the pomade, My hair has not dried out and I've been able to style my hair in the way I like. It's been a win win for me. I'm really digging this product.

Highly Recommend for Daily Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past several years, I've exclusively used water based strong hold pomades but this texture pomade has me hooked. While I long enjoyed a sleek shine, I feel like it's a bit much and not quite right for a thirty something year old. This pomade is absolutely perfect. It give just the right amount of texture and doesn't feel chunky or wet. My girl is still comfortable running her fingers through it and the smell is subtle and pleasant.
While I still like the slick look of a water based pomade for certain occasions, this texture pomade is perfect for my daily use.

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
