Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Pre-Shampoo Bonding Treatment for Damaged Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My color treated hair needed a good treatment and this product did not disappoint. My hair is dull, dry, and lacks volume. From the first use, I noticed that this product gave my hair such radiance and shine! I also noticed my hair felt soft, and my split ends were repaired. This product is recommended to be used before you shampoo, and make sure you leave it on 5-10 minutes. I definitely recommend because this is a total hair changer!

The intensive treatment was definitely my favorite and saw the most immediate results with. The leave in conditioner was good too, but I prefer my other leave-in conditioners over this one. I found the leave in conditioner was a little heavy and weighed my hair down.

With that being said u apply it before shampooing then r to follow with the bonding shampoo n conditioner. I used something else this was how my hair air dried. no products other then ones given free complimentary from influenster for my honest review. I'm I'm stylist so I would say this is probably great for over processed hair.. I treat my hair with other stuff and had better results so I can say it made it shineyer but not much softer but that was one use I'll update if it changes. P.s. my kitten loved the box to sleep in I couldn't help but add that in thr.

I color and chemically straighten my hair so I need a good deep conditioner. I highly recommend this product for all hair types but especially those with dry damaged hair.

My ends look better and my hair feels smoother and stronger after using this treatment. I would recommend to anyone with similar hair issues. I like how quick it was to use. It has a pleasant smell and it did not cause any issues for my sensitive skin. I left on for the full ten minutes (instructions say 5-10 minutes) and then shampooed and conditioned. My hair looks great and seems less prone to tangles. I look forward to seeing if it protects against color fade longer term as an additional benefit too. I have used a more expensive product of this type and feel like the Redken gave a very similar result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 14% for free from Bzz Agent and was asked to give an honest review. I was only given the bonding concentrate not the shampoo or conditioner that's part of this line. I used my own (Wella Brilliance) shampoo and conditioner. The directions say to dampen hair, then apply Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate and leave on hair for 5-10m, rinse then shampoo and condition. I applied the product and covered my hair with a shower cap and waited 10m since I color my hair very frequently, I wanted the maximum amount of time. The product is thick, smells great and is easy to apply. I saturated my hair with it and made sure to put more emphasis on the ends. After the 10m was up I rinsed my hair and shampooed and conditioned and towel dried my hair. After 15m of my hair air drying I blow dried it using no additional hair products. My hair seems very soft, manageable and dried very quickly. I can run my fingers throw it without hitting any tangles. I would recommend this product to anywho who does a lot of chemical processes an/or uses a lot of heat styling tools on their hair daily. I am attaching pictures of before/during/ after.

I feel like this is a product that you’d really benefit from using the entire line. Having only the concentrate and the leave in treatment, i didn’t get the full effect. That being said, my hair is heavily damaged and I did not expect miracles, but this did a nice job of softening my crunchy ends. The fragrance is nice…it’s familiar and nostalgic but I can’t pinpoint where I know it from. While this isn’t going to replace my holy grail hair repair products, I definitely think it’s worth the price point and a good alternative to pricier products.

I have been using it with the acidic bonding leave in treatment for a couple of weeks. My hair tends to be on the dry side with stray frizz. My hair is less frizzy and softer and in better condition. I love the scent, it’s hard to describe but it smells like a high end shampoo should. I definitely prefer it to my usual haircare items and would love to buy the whole line to get the full experience. I highly recommend this! Try it you won’t regret it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really damaged my hair. I went bright purple for a while and my stylist and I both have bleached my hair multiple times. I have an area that is so damaged it doesn't want to hold color anymore. I've went back to a more normal color but my hair hasn't been the same until I tried the bonding concentrate! To be honest I did not expect it to do much. The first time I used it, I only put it on the most damaged part and I was shocked that it looked so much healthier. The second time I put it all over and my hair has been way less frizzy! I will definitely be purchasing this when the bottle I have runs out.

My hair color even looked BETTER after using the concentrate! That is the most important of a conditioner for those with colored and/or bleached hair. It is thick and stays put while you wait for it to work. My hair felt so much softer after using the concentrate. It is a small bottle but a little goes a long way since it is very thick. I recommend storing the bottle upside down to be able to get the product out easily. The smaller bottle also makes it easy to take while traveling.

A little goes a long way, you use this on damp hair pre shampoo which is different. it’s easy to apply. I noticed how soft it makes my hair and it keeps it feeling soft even post shampoo almost like I wouldn’t need conditioner almost. The smell is great and my hair looks so much more hydrated. I went from black to platinum back to dark brown. this is just what my hair needed. Highly recommend. I got this as a sample from influenster and I will be buying more. 10/10

My hair felt so smooth and healthy after using it just one time. Using it more times only improves the effectiveness. For a while I was bleaching it and it was a bit mistreated especially at the ends, after using this my hair became silkier and healthier, that's why I say it works magic so I definitely recommend it!!!

My hair is thick, coarse and dry and after using this treatment, my hair feels so soft, more manageable and stronger. I color my hair regularly and use heat styling products on my hair daily which adds to the dryness, brittleness and breakage in my hair. This intensive treatment does a wonderful job of protecting my hair against breakage and fortifying strands from within to keep my hair healthy. The treatment starts working in just 5 minutes and is so easy to incorporate into my routine. I would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product to be super easy to use. Application was a breeze, just one step. I let it sit for 10 minutes and then washed out. The directions say to follow up with the Acidic Bonding Shampoo and Conditioner. I wish this sample would have come as the complete kit, but since those weren't included, I used the Redken ColorExtend Shampoo and Conditioner that I already had on hand. Combing through my damp hair did seem a little easier, as did blow drying. Overall, I think it did make my hair a little healthier and more manageable, however not a great deal. Perhaps wtih the rest of the products that are recommended, I'd get better results.

I wasn’t sure how much product to use on my hair, but the consistency is similar to a lightweight conditioner. I LOVE the scent and the ease with which to use it (for extra strength and repair). However, I would’ve loved to see a recommendation or direction on the bottle for how often to use a treatment like this one. Additionally, I think that leaving the treatment on damp hair for 5-10 minutes may be pushing my realistic timeframe. Other than that, I loved getting to try this product out! I got my hair damp, put about 2 tablespoons in my slightly longer than shoulder length hair and waited about 7 minutes, rinsed it out. Washed & conditioned. I used the leave in product before I dried my hair. My hair is wavy and gets frizzy in the humidity (I live in SC where it's VErY humid). My hair became really soft, and pretty resistant to the humidity. Also - it didn't look greasy after 2 or 3 days. I keep touching its- it's really soft.

I can honestly say that this pre-shampoo Intensive Treatment has tamed my frizz and added a beautiful healthy shine to my hair, but it didn’t weigh it down at all! I noticed that with consistently using the entire range of Redken’s Acidic Bonding products, my hair looks SUPER healthy and smooth and full of body, which is a pleasant change from its usual damaged flat look! I am happy to recommend this Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment and the rest of the products in this line!
