Nature + Science Extreme Shampoo

I have severely damaged hair, and this product actually brought life back into my locks. It leaves your hair feeling clean as opposed to that waxy build up feeling that other products leave you with. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone, and will continue to use this product for a long time to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Redken products for years because they are a brand I trust and a great value for your money but had never tried NATURE + SCIENCE EXTREME SHAMPOO, until now. I love that it made rich lather quickly. and rinsed completely, leaving no residue or greasy feeling ,Even wet I cool feel the difference .When dry my hair felt so soft and manageable with no fizzy or fly away ends The smell is very pleasant and not over powering . Love that it is sulfate, silicone, and paraben free.. I will continue using the shampoo because of how much better my hair looks and feels after a week of shampooing.and plan to buy the matching condition. I definitely recommend this to family and friends

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved using NATURE+SCIENCE EXTREME shampoo!! I have two little girls with naturally curly hair and this didn't weigh it done at all. It brought out the curls and shine even more. It also made my hair so soft. I never heard of this shampoo before but I will definitely continue to buy it.

Even though I am not vegan, I love the fact that the formula is free of animal products and is made up of 83% naturally derived ingredients. Furthermore, the container itself is eco friendly (94% recycled plastic!!!) and touts a shampoo that is silicone free and fortifying. I had certainly heard of Redken before, but had rarely bought its shampoos, since I'm a Kevin Murphy customer. I was so please with this shampoo, and its more moderate price, that I will likely switch over to the Nature and Science Extreme altogether when I run out of my other products. This product leaves your hair soft and free of residue or overwhelming scents. The mixture lathers well and has a subtle citrus scent that smells like it is derived from natural essential oils. A little goes a long way. I noticed after a week of using the product that my hair was softer and less frizzy and dry. I highly recommend this product and look forward to using it in conjunction with the Extreme conditioner, as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened the bottle and the first thing I noticed was the fragrance, I loved the way it smelt , then I noticed the viscosity and it was very spreadable again a plus point. It produced good lather, another notch in the belt. After I was done washing I let my hair air dry and I was happy with the result but just not as happy as I expected to be , since my hair is prone to damage and the heavy ness and creaminess of a heavier shampoo seems to work better than this. My hair was probably cleaner but it was not softer and more manageable as some other shampoos I have used on my hair, maybe it's healthier inside and I need to use it for a longer period of time to really feel the difference, but the three times that I have have not worked the best for me

It was my first time trying out the Redken Nature + Science Extreme Shampoo and I absolutely love it! I'm so happy I got a chance to try this shampoo and see how it would work on my hair. I have never tried a Vegan shampoo until now and I found it quite delightful. I felt like I was at a spa using this shampoo. It smells amazing. The scent was captivating and relaxing. The shampoo comes out clear. The moment that I started to massage the shampoo into my hair, I noticed that it lather up a lot. My hair is pretty long so I had to use enough but if you have short hair, I'd say a little goes a long way when using this shampoo. It lathers up quickly and a lot. When the shampoo lathers up it transforms from being clear to a white foam. My hair felt very moisturized while I was shampooing my hair. Usually other shampoos will dry out my hair and leave it knotted. But the Redken Shampoo was completely different. The Redken shampoo felt like it was conditioning my hair as I was shampooing it. This shampoo left my hair feeling very clean and manageable. It also detangled my hair which I found to be amazing. I've never experienced anything like this. I color treat my hair quite often, so my hair needs that extra help in strengthening it and help with damage. I've been getting so many compliments on my hair ever since I've been using this shampoo. I really feel that this shampoo has made a difference in my hair. I barely have any split ends anymore or breakage. That's unbelievable! If you have damaged over processed hair that needs some more care, I'd definitely recommend this shampoo. It will definitely help your hair a lot. I will be repurchasing this shampoo the moment I run out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is the smell. I wish it had an attractive smell but instead it smells plain. Guessing it's because it's a natural shampoo but the smell just is Not to attracting. Other than that it works great! My hair isn't we feeling silky and smooth and no frizz n this humidity. If you r looking for a great shampoo without scent then this really is a wonderful product! The bottle is sturdy and see through so u can see what's left in it and it's easy to pour

Silicon free with lupine protein. Even the bottle is 94% made from recycled plastic. My hair is so much more manageable. Soft, shiny and silky. Helps with flyaways. The only thing I didn't like is the smell. But it wouldn't keep me from buying the product again. I would recommend trying Redken's Nature +Science Extreme Shampoo.

It's not necessarily something I have to have in beauty products but always a plus to see it. It did leave my hair feeling stronger and I noticed less breakage after a few washes. It was a little thin for me which is kind of a bummer because I feel like I have to use more product. The smell is pretty strong kind of plant like but not florally.

I like smooth hair not Afro friz on my white girl haie. I will not be buying the NATURE + SCIENCE EXTREME SHAMPOO in the future. I was not aware of the NATURE + SCIENCE EXTREME SHAMPOO before participating in this program. I will not be recommending the NATURE + SCIENCE EXTREME SHAMPOO to others, it didn't work well on my hair.

I noticed a difference with the ends of my hair. After bleaching my hair for a year, I hadn't yet found a product that could repair the damage despite leaving my hair alone for almost three years. After using Redken extreme shampoo I noticed my ends didn't look fried! Can't wait to use the shampoo with the conditioner!

I have extremely dry hair yet an oily scalp and 30+ years I've not been able to find anything that levels out y hair. Shower in the morning and by five o'clock I'm using dry shampoo to take out the oils. After just one week it seems like my hair is leveling out and finally not looking like I don't wash everyday

I was not aware that redkin had products that were vegan ! So I was very interested in trying this product. I am multiracial so I have thick hair mid length to my back . Because it's getting hot my hair gets very dry. My first thought of this product was that I like the blue and green color it was very appealing. And seeing that it's labeled that it had 83% natural derived products made me very happy . Upon using this shampoo I've noticed my hair seems a lot healthier and has more volume ! I was skeptical at first because i like to uses sets of things and because I only have the shampoo I didn't know if it would take to my hair but it did ! The smell is good as well. I am very impressed with this product and will recommend to other and I will also purchase the conditioner to this also

I have pain in the rear hair anyways. I will continue to use it. It might be getting rid of the build up of the other products that I use. I do not use the conditioner that goes with this. That might make a difference also. I do like that it is nature. There are chemicals in everything.

I use heat tools on my hair and have weakened and damaged my hair. This shampoo is unique, I can actually feel extra volume in my hair, and I don't mean just product, but my hair actually feels like it has life again. I love it!

My hair is bleached, and styled with hot tools often and this shampoo has made a huge difference. The fragrance is light, clean, almost herbal. I will purchase over and over again!

The directions say to shake the bottle first - not used to doing that with a shampoo, but easy enough to remember. Did not weigh down my hair, felt clean and soft.

I bought the large bottle as I used to use the extreme conditioner, however the shampoo is definitely not good for my hair type. It doesn't clean well and my hair gets oily and heavy. I'm not happy at all and I I'll need to buy another one, sad that it was expensive...

I love that it is free from sulphates and parabens. I wish it did have a better scent to it. I always use conditioner afterwards but it would still be nice.

I bought this shampoo by recommendation of my hairstylist a month ago and I just hate it, is like detergent on my hair, it is expensive and I just cant use it anymore, Im so dissapointed. I usually use the argan oil one, I regret change it and bought this one.

I did like that the ingredients were on the purer side and I trust Redken, so maybe this shampoo just didn't agree with my hair.
