[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was searching for something that would alleviate fly away hair yet not give me hard or sticky hair. I was very happy to find the Brews Cream Pomade by Redken.
The medium hold of this pomade is perfect for his daily styling needs. The product has enough hold to let me style, adds a little body to my unfortunately thinning hair, but does not appear overdone.
I like how it's lightly scented and not greasy once applied. My hair feels hydrated and does not have an unpleasant texture. I would definitely buy it again.

A Great Pomade For Medium Control and Smooth Finis

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Redken Brews Cream Pomade, I was a bit skeptical, the cream was thick, but not pasty or overly chemical. After shampooing, I applied a small amount into the palm of my hand and then applied it to my hair. My hair was easy to style, the rich pomade did not give my hair an unnatural gummy look. The Pomade gave my hair a rich luster and sheen which looked absolutely fabulous. Once I achieved the style I wanted, the Pomade gave my hair medium control and a natural finish. The scent was very pleasant and remained throughout the day. Just a small amount worked into dry or damp hair will give you the control you desire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried this a couple times and it doesn't hold for me. The first time I put a small amount in and it did nothing. Ended up using double the normal stuff I use and the hold lasted for less than 2 hours. This was while I was sitting around inside. All I did was use it to smooth my hair down, my hair likes to stand up a little so I use product to keep it down. So I wasn't doing any crazy hair do either. The next time I put a glob in and it still only held for an hour or two. The last time I feel like I used a quarter of the container and it still didn't hold long. I do like that it has a very subtle scent to it.

This does not leave any residue and my hair looks more natural and don't have that greasy look that gel usual gives. It holds my style for the whole

I love that it goes on smooth and doesn't clump when it dries. A little goes a long way, I apply it when my hair is almost completely dry and then I continue drying and styling. With this pomade I no longer have to finish up with a hair spray - just style and go!

I’m a hairstylist and I love this so much I got the owner to carry it. I use it for my big puffy curls and am turning clients on to it who have the same texture. I find it also works well for coarse thick hair when doing chunky styling.

I do not ever wear extreme styles, so I use it to tame my hair down and give it a little style in the front. This pomade does that without it looking super shiny, crunchy or wet. It says it has a low shine, and it's just that. Nothing too noticeable, but yet I feel just makes my hair look healthy. Not super shiny, yet a healthy look. Great medium hold and for the price point it can't be beat.

Since I've been using hair gel/pomade for years, I was blessed to be able to use different products: both American brands and Japanese, Korean beauty brands. To be honest, the quality of this pomade isn't as good as couple of top brands from Asia. It's leaves greasy look that's unnatural & my hair didn't look good at the end of the day. Unless the price point is competitive, I wouldn't purchase it over the other brands that I've been using for couple years.

And, as I can say, I can achieve this with Reken! I tried shampoo and it works well for me, so I decided to give some other products a try as well.
After using their shampoo and finish it with this pomade my hair looks awesome! I don't have much of it but it add some needed volume, as well as hold pretty well, nor for a long but that works for me.
So far I'm very happy, will see how it works in long run.

Using my fingertip I start out with a small amount rubbed between both hands adding additional cream as needed. The Pomade Cream had a very light pleasant scent with a great hold that last's without any greasy or stiff feeling. I have used several products on the market gels, oils, and creams but Redken Brews Cream Pomade is far superior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair can tend to be a bit unruly, and I often sort of just go with it and let it do its own natural crazy thing. Sometimes, however, I need to be a bit more presentable, and love to have a good product to keep my hair where I want it. The Brews pomade worked really well for me in initial styling. I didn't need to use too much product to get a good hold, which is really nice because a lot of the time I find when you need a lot of product, you get a greasy finish. It gave my hair a nice dulled shine, which is the result I look for. The hold lasted throughout a work day, although by the end of the day it was starting to go a bit flat. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was the lack of scent. Hair products naturally have a scent and it's not that pleasant. A little menthol like in the shampoo to give it a nice scent in your hands and hair would do wonders.

I have thin wispy hair on top. I am also thinning. When my hair gets longer, it goes everywhere. I've tried so many other products, muds, putty's, gels, pomades etc. and nothing ever worked like I wanted. I bought this on a whim, and I am glad I did. It light and has great hold. I use it every day. A little goes a long way. This is my forever hair product. You should at least try it.

However the Redken pomade makes your hair looks great with a slight shine with no sticky or oily feeling. It's smells great and gives your hair a fresh clean scent. I can still push it around and maintain a good look. It's not greasy and doesn't really have a smell, which I don't want. Good: it wasn't greasy, it held for a long time, it didn't have a smell. Bad: wouldn't be a good starter routine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a medium length thick hair and this pomade doesn't quite have the hold i need for a full day of work. It does have a nice scent to it though. I've tried using it on both damp and dry hair and I do suggest applying it on damp. Its more manageable this way and would not stick out and looks crunchy as if you used gel.

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
