I can only get my blonde this bright and shiny right after leaving the salon. However, the Redken blonde hair mask is now making it possible to achieve salon worthy hair from home! This softens my dry hair as it also brightens, not much of a smell to the product which is a bonus. Be very careful when using, as it is a little messy and a really deep purple color, I did create a bit of a mess in my shower the first time I used it, but nothing a little cleaner couldn't fix. Also make sure to rinse very well, so there isn't any purple dye left on your scalp. I only use this once at week at most, but it really works!

Directions recommed after shampooing, towel dry hair, wearing gloves apply to hair and comb to evenly distribute. Then wait around for 5-10 minutes then rinse out. For me, I usually don't have a lot of time to spare and when i'm in the shower, I'm trying to get it all done and out in a shot time. I would only be able to use this mask very sparingly given that I would have to get in the shower, shampoo, hop out, towel dry hair, apply mask, let sit up to 10mins, then get back in the shower and finish up. Overall the mask itself is great, it's the time needed that I dont always have.

I have been using the Redken Blondage shampoo/conditioner for a few weeks, and recently swapped out the conditioner for the Blondage express anti-brass mask (as a once a week/twice a month substitute). This mask is very pigmented, which I love. It works quickly, tones out any yellow, and leaves my hair super soft! I also feel like my hair is stronger after using this. I used to tone my hair in between salon visits with Redken Shades EQ (professional grade toner), but I'm definitely going to be able to skip that and use this instead! I will say, if you don't like a slight purple hue for a wash or two (you can get a purple hue out using a clarifying shampoo), I would not leave it in for a full 10 minutes (go with 5), or I would mix a bit of your normal conditioner into this so that it's not so pigmented, just because you're leaving it on for longer than a shampoo or normal conditioner. I personally don't mind it; in fact, I enjoy it! I also suggest following the instructions and wearing gloves unless you like lavender hands! Overall, I have fallen in love with this whole Redken Blondage line, and am not looking back! It keeps my platinum/silver hair brass-free and is easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive a free sample of Blondage Mask from Redken through BzzAgent for my honest review. I have blonde highlights put in my hair a few times a year and in the past have tried a few purple shampoos, including Matrix, Loreal and Biolage. I've stuck with Biolage and was hopeful Redken would provide some competition. It had been over a month since my hair was last colored and it was beginning to look brassy so I gave Blondage Shampoo from Redken a try. I used the shampoo followed by the Blondage Conditioner 2 different times in a week and didn't notice a difference. They both smell heavenly and the shampoo suds up well. Both rinse easily and left my hair feeling soft. I was concerned, since purple shampoos are designed to strip away excess color, some tend to dry my hair. The third time I used the shampoo, I followed up with the Blondage Mask and did see a difference (see attached photos). For some reason when my hair dries after using this, I have more waves, which is also a pleasant surprise. I would continue to use this (purchase the Mask and skip the Conditioner!) to see if it continues to brighten my hair. The one negative – instructions tell you to use gloves. It doesn't come with gloves. I was also afraid it would stain my porcelain shower, so I washed my hair in the kitchen sink. This requirement puts Biolage's purple shampoo ahead of Redken in terms of convenience.

This product helps me stay brighter longer! The smell is great, it's easy to use, and I even like the blttkes. I like the 3 product system, I feel like it works a bit better than other stand alone products I have used in the past. I have both blonde and gray hair and I will say that it truly brings out the shine and highlights like no other conditioner mask I've used before. It also smells amazing and doesn't stain everything it comes in contact with but I would recommend gloves as it is potent and will stain your nails! Although I did receive this product for free to review, I will absolutely purchase this in the future!

I am guilty of not wearing gloves and with a quick application it rinsed off from my hands easily. It conditioned and detangled my hair well. I could tell that the highlights in my blonde hair were lighter. I let it sit for about 8 minutes. My hair needed some smoothing down after drying it, but that may have just been the Florida humidity.

I liked the mask because it doesn't leave my hair hard like another one I've used. It's been a while since I had a line that smelled so delicious. The only thing I don't like is that my hands get stained. But I used makeup remover soap and everything was removed from my hands.

It is definitely heavily pigmented and I have to use gloves when applying it. I use it on my hair only and stay away from the scalp. It has a pleasant clean, floral scent but it's not overpowering. I think this would be great by itself after a regular shampoo. This works fast and I like to use it a few times per month.

I left it in for almost ten minutes and my hair was detangled and smooth. It left it so it was easy to comb out. My hair felt great. I was surprised to see how much cooler my blonde was! I have color treated blonde hair and I'm always struggling to keep it from turning brassy from our hard water! This is a great option for keeping my color looking fresh between highlights. This mask is very pigmented and not for daily use. If you struggle with brassy hair I would recommend this line.

I usually use a spray leave in conditioner on a day-to-day basis. But every once in a while, a girl has got to have a mini cheap spa night. Having a mask in that little mix is always a win-win. I liked this mask a lot because of the nice toning effects - although minimal - and it had a high-quality feel and scent to it that I enjoyed. I will say that out of the options you have for toner/ toner type masks or hair masks generally speaking this one was not one of the better ones.

And it was hard to get it out of my tub even though I wiped it out right away after what happened to my hands! 😱 Combine that with the overbearingly potent scent and my first impression was not great. As far as taking the brassiness out of my hair, it was very disappointing and possibly not even needed. One use resulted in my golden blonde looking ashy and slightly grey. It did calm down after a few washes but sheesh! I was a little worried at first and will not use this again. I personally would not recommend using this product unless your stylist recommends it.

I didn't really like the smell. But other than that amazing product Apply on wet hair. Let it sit for 5-10 mins (depending on your desired level of warmth) and rinse well. Redken recommends swapping the Redken Blondage Conditioner with the new Redken Blondage Express Anti-Brass Mask once a week or more, as needed, to correct brass and maintain a bright, cool blonde tone

So as far as a conditioning mask, it is great. It makes my hair feel smooth and isn't heavy. I followed the directions as stated on the back and my hair feels soft. But as for the toning part of the product, I have noticed no change in color of the sort. I never felt that purple conditioners have ever done anything for my hair. And I am a blonde who is also a professional hairstylist therefore I have tried not just some, but a lot of these type of products. I get better results with shampoos. My conclusion for this product is that it's a great conditioning mask for your hair, but saw no significant change in blonde color toning out brass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried plenty of purple masks after having platinum blonde hair for several years. This one takes the cake with it being the most pigmented. It did turn my hair a purple hue. I personally don't mind it. It fades after a few washes with regular shampoo/conditioner. I will maybe use it 1- 2 times max inbetween having my hair /roots bleached as I feel the shampoo/conditioner duo would suffice for me. I'd say if your hair turns brassy/gold after bleaching this could work well for you.
