Après-shampooing Clean Maniac Clean-Touch

I started using Clean Maniac shampoo and conditioner by Redken a few months ago. I use them both every day. The thoroughness of the shampoo in cleansing and the lightness yet effectiveness of the conditioner in moisturizing my hair have "freed" my hair's natural waves. I have fine, oily hair, which has always sat flat on my head, but after a couple of months of using this shampoo/conditioner pair I have wash-and-wear hair for the first time in my life!

My hair feels so much softer. I was using monat products my hair looked horrible so when I went to salon and bought bedhead split end mender with leave in conditioner the hairstylist gave me couple sample packs of redkin clean maniac shampoo and conditioner after doing a root touch up I washed it in this and I absolutely love it. I went back next day and purchased full bottles would defendantly reccomend

I wish I would’ve read reviews before buying it because they’re all correct it leaves a horrible film in your hair you can’t run your fingers through it let alone get it dry with a hairdryer takes an hour. Now I have this huge liter of conditioner and I don’t even want it it’s trash don’t waste your money

I guess just like medication conditioner can work differently for different people . I love this conditioner!!! It’s changed my life . I had tried Olaplex only to have my hair in worse shape . The minute I used this conditioner my hair was no longer dry and brittle . It does feel weird when applied but as long as it works I don’t care . I’ve spent $$$$ on hair care and so happy to find this product

I just used the conditioner for the first time. It was the strangest feeling on my hair. Felt like it was like water. Once I dried my hair, there was a very heavy sticky like residue. Made it difficult to use round brush. I bought the big bottle. Unfortunately I will use it but would not purchase again. To advertise as light weight with no silicone is absolutely insane.

I don’t know why redken didn’t post my review yet. So I’m writing again But please do not waste your money on this conditioner. leaves my hair dry and brittle and my mannequin’s hair is just falling out. I guess if you want hair loss you can use this conditioner. Had to change immediately to a different type of brand because it was making my hair sticky and brittle.

The shampoo is great but the conditioner is nasty. It leaves a horrible film on your that you just can't get off. If you use the shampoo with another conditioner it is awesome. The residue makes your hair feel like you never cleaned your hair in the first place and it is heavy. I use all Redken products, so this was a real bummer.

I purchased after trying the clean maniac shampoo. I took the risk of buying this expensive product thinking it would be lightweight on my fine, straight hair. It’s awful. I have never had my hair so heavy and greasy looking. It feels like I have tons of product in my hair when I have nothing in it. I am so disappointed.

My aunt got this conditioner for me for Christmas and I've only used it twice. I usually stick to Treseme and I love it but ecah time I've used this conditioner, it is so hard to stick to my hair and when my hair is finally fry, it feels very waxy. It makes it so much harder to style my hair.

Silicone free conditioners can take a little getting use too. They feel different, and your hair feels different. Once you get use to the lack of Silicone you can appreciate this product. Leaves behind no residue, but makes hair soft, moisturized and easy to style.

It's absolutely the worst conditioner I purchased. I tried it several times to get myself used to silicone-free texture but each time my hair came out frizzy and knotted. Extremely disappointed in this product and especially since I bought the jumbo size!!

Love this shampoo! Recently removed all sulfates and silicone products from my hair care line up, I've always loved Redken and this didn't disappoint! It's fantastic! Gentle on my curls, but clears off any buildup. Hoping to try the conditioner next!

I used this and immediately felt a difference in my hair which is naturally wavy Scottish thick hair. For the first time in 50 years, my hair was silky and smooth without having to blow dry it straight. So love this.

I brought the Clean Maniac conditioner and used it several times. I felt like it left a film on my hair. The top of my hair felt heavy and dirty. I brought a big bottle of this that I won't be using.

I agree with those who reported it leaves the hair dull and gluey and I can hardly run my finger thru after it dries. It must be for special type of hair. Waist of $$$$

I bought the jumbo size and i used it twice, both times my hair was left with a nasty sticky film even though i had rewashed my hair with shampoo after conditioning.

I usually love Redken products and this made my hair so filmy that I had to wash it out. Even in the shower it made my hair feel completely dry and unmanageable.

The people that have rated this poorly are either (1) using it wrong, or (2) have specific needs for their hair type. I think it's pretty obvious from the label and nature of the product that it is not meant for daily use. If you use any type of product that is meant to dissolve and remove buildup and, for lack of a better word, strip bad oils from your hair--common sense tells us to only use it 1-2 x weekly. Of course, using it daily would over do it. I'm the type that washes my hair every 3 days. It's perfect for that. If I wash it more, I just use my other Redken (High Rise) products. If you use drug store products, or you don't take care of your hair such as regular trims, then your hair may already be damaged and unable to really benefit from most products. Check your routine and dedication to gorgeous hair. Sometimes it's a user error. With that being said, I have fine, straight hair. I know those with other types may have different reactions and need different products. But for my hair, this is an absolute game changer. Please don't ever discontinue it. This may have sounded rude, but some of you need a reality check.
