Ph Balance you just apply to clean hair before blow drying then yay hair is ready to style and it stays all day/ night. Smells light and refreshing I am in love with this cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my now holy grail items. (I received this item for free for the purpose of a review, but this is a sincere, and honest review.). This was a game changer for it. My hair for days later has been healthier and softer then it was before and I have curly and frizzy hair. This product has kept my hair from frying and drying out. You need to apply it to damp hair, bit what is in it makes it so you can straighten your hair easy even while still wet . My hair was soft and nourished after this. The texture is creamy and it soaks right in. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not deny it, I have unruly hair that I have to iron it all the time, and that has caused it to be somewhat dry and damaged and obviously the ends are split from so much heat used, it is instantly noticeable that it lacks shine. I tried the Redkens Extreme Play Safe product and was amazed my hair is another one came to life !! It visibly reduced the damage it had, in just 2 weeks of use ... and I can see that the hair does not break as much when brushing as before, it feels soft and looks strong at the same time i love It!! It is easy to use just apply the product only on damp hair, concentrating on the damaged middle and ends, Leave it and that's all you can continue with the ironing or drying of hair, you will feel that it is protected for any heat temperature. I recommend it to you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken Extreme Play Safe is a fantastic new addition to my hair care routine. I have never used this type of product before but knowing how often I blow-dry and/or curl my hair it's a shame I didn't know about it sooner! This product was extremely easy to apply after showering and was pleased to find that it didn't feel greasy or weigh down my hair. I also liked that there it was subtly scented but not overpowering. After blow drying, my hair felt soft, a bit more voluminous and had a nice health sheen to it. I highly recommend this product to those of us who regularly use some form of heat to style their hair.

I used this Redken Extreme Play Safe Leave In Treatment after washing and my curls snapped back in a flash! This leave in felt hydrating while added the much needed protein to help prevent breakage! My hair was in desperate need of some love, and this was exactly what it needed! I can't wait to test this treatment with heat!

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
