This product leave a red residue behind in my hair, on the floor where I do my hair, and in the shower when I wash my hair. I used the old formula of this product and never had this issue. Redken should really look into this.

I bought all 3 products for Extreme Redken last month . I’ve used All soft since they stopped making my favourite Smooth Down- it has better scent and was better product than all I have tried since . Extreme is extreme and my long thick blonde hair doesn’t respond well. I’m going back to All Soft & Redken Argan Oil again as had my hair past waist. The last few years have seen my hair go from shiny smooth to dry and porous. Need samples before I buy this months shampoo/ conditioner as purchase in 1000 ml only. Would love samples and recommendations for product closest to Smooth Down- salon told me it was Diamond oil at the time... it was rubbish . I want my nice Redken hair back that Brough compliments not tears

I had not heard of Extreme Anti snap prior to receiving it to try. I'm pleasantly surprised by this. I have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair. I've used more expensive (salon) brands of leave-in treatments, and this is comparable in quality. This smells fantastic and very easy to apply to my hair. The smell is amazing, the consistency is not too thick or too thin, it doesn't weigh your hair down and it controls frizz! I I do believe it's helping keep my hair stronger and more intact. I love it! I would definitely continue to use this product and recommend this product to my family and friends.

Smells amazing, a little goes a long way and is lightweight but still moisturizing. My hair has some damage from bleached highlights and would snap and break off. Well, I just cannot believe how well this works. My hair feels stronger and as if it's reinforced. No I can finally grow it long. Amazing product.

This is the best product I have ever found that keeps my hair healthy. It keeps down the breakage. I also like to use it mixed with a Curing gel. It keeps hair from being freezing and not have the crunch affect. I buy it at least once every 3 months.

I have used this product after using both the Redken Color Extend Blondage Color Depositing Purple Shampoo and Conditioner. This is a good product to use post treating your hair with color or toner. Because my hair is color treated, it gets dry and tangled very easily. This product helps with those issues. I loved the way my hair feels when I go to style it after using this product. My only suggestion would be in the packaging of this product. Mine came in a "spay" type bottle and it is a little difficult to get the product out and evenly onto the hair in the shower.

Let me first start with my hair background; I’ve done a lot of damage over the years by bouncing color to color and using heat tools. I’ve been blonde for the past few years, and have been going lighter the past few months. My hair is still pretty healthy considering, but it can be a little weak after bleaching. I used this product with my first wash after highlights, and was pretty amazed with how strong it made my hair feel post bleach. I like the packaging, I feel like it makes the product easy to distribute. Influenster sent me this for testing purposes, and I’m happy to add it to my product list.

I have super coarse, wavy, frizzy, thick hair that over the last 32 yrs I've colored, permed twice with spiral curls. Now since we've been self isolating since literally the last two days of Feb 2020. My hair is no longer the color it was during Christmas 2019 (darker with blue/purple highlights all over. Besides not getting it cut until late May, I'm still left with hair that appears to be blond and grey with remnants of the blue/purple has now turned to pink. I had my hair bleach damaged very bad at a horrible salon a little over a year go. I had hair all the way to my bum and now its about a little over my shoulders because it was so damaged. I have been trying everything to maintain my hair and make the damage manageable while it grows out. I wear tape in extensions as well. I use this on my worse damaged bits of hair and it is great. You definitely want to use this sparingly because it is potent. Also you do not want your hair to have too much proteins because that can also cause breakage. This has definitely helped my hair from breaking off as much. The bottle lasts me forever.

I have bleached hair that I consistently use heat on. My biggest struggle is these scraggly layers that come from my ends breaking in the worst places. I use this on my hair after washing along with the redken extreme lengths primer, and have noticed a considerable decrease in breakage, along with a considerable increase in growth of my broken layers. It doesn't happen overnight, but within a month I noticed that my ends didn't seem so scraggly and piecey, and these were the only two new products added to my hair regimen. And for someone whose hair grows at a glacial pace, trimming isn't always an option, so maintaining what length I have is super important!

Long term help for damaged hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair has been severely damaged after a long time of over-dying so even now that I don't dye it anymore, there's still damage. I've lots of different leave-in serums and treatments but this is the first time I've actually seen a long-lasting effect on my hair. The Redken anti snap treatment has really helped the appearance of my split ends and has made my hair healthier looking overall. It's a very light product so it doesn't look nor feel like I'm wearing anything at all. It's not greasy whatsoever and is actually something my hair dresser told me to continue using because she was so impressed with the change in my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Redken: Anti Snap leave in treatment shortly after I dried my hair, and I was able to immediately tell that my hair was much stronger and smoother than it was previously. I combed it while it was still damp and when everything dried up, and close to none of my hair ripped out in the process while I was brushing it. This is such a huge improvement because I always struggled with losing large clumps of my hair everytime I showered. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this product to all my friends.

I try not to use hot tools a lot but between that and dying my hair, I was really excited to see how it worked. The consistency is thin but not too liquidy and applied easily. The product isn't heavy or greasy and after application I couldn't even tell that there was anything in my hair. Afterwards my hair felt nice and soft and the ends don't feel dry or brittle. Overall I liked it and will continue to use it to strengthen my hair!

Great investment for a great product! It's always easy to choose the least expensive hair and beauty products but sometimes you get what you pay for. I have very think, curly hair and use a lot of products on my hair. This is a must have in my routine. It helps to strengthen my hair and condition it. Helps reduce frizz and all around make your hair feel great. My mom (a hair dresser) used this religiously when some medicine caused her hair to thin. This helped protect her hair and reduce what was coming out. It also helped her hair to come back, stronger and just as full. Definitely worth you money with this product!

I was right. The products are great for breakage as they state. But, it definitely weighs down my natural curls. I would highly recommend if you straighten your hair. The packaging is appealing, the smell is nice, rinses well. I found myself spraying the leave-in conditioner on my hand and then applying rather than spraying directly on to my hair.

This stuff is phenomenal !!! I love it! I always wander off an try other products that all geared towards the same results , but I always find my way back to this! It works for your hair in so many ways ; damaged hair & split ends while providing protection against chemical damage, heat damage from hot hair styling tools we just can’t live without, also giving protection towards surface damage and let’s not forget hair breakage ! Your hair is left stronger , much smoother and the breakage and Dreadful split ends, are greatly decreases! And I can’t forget to mention the smell of this product and how great that is! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best product I've tried to reduce hair loss and breakage. I have thick long (down to my lower back) processed hair that is normally straight but the damage from the processing leaves my hair wavy and frizzy if I don't use any products. I was losing large clumps of hair both at the root as well as from breakage. It was scary the amounts of hair I was losing. I don't know if it was due to the salon processing or just natural hair loss. But this product has stopped about 90% if not 95% of my hair loss. I rub a half dollar coin sized amount between my hands then massage it along the length of my hair and on my scalp. It's the only product I need to reduce the hair lost.

I have been using it in conjunction with the other blonde shampoo and conditioner from redken. I can’t tell if it is making a big difference by itself, but combined my platinum hair feels significantly healthier. The only thing I did not like was the shape of the bottle as it was hard to grip with wet hands (as you’re supposed to put it in after shampooing).

I had not heard of Extreme Antisnap prior to receiving it to try. I do use and love Redkin Shampoo and Conditioner but I have never tried any of their other products. The Antisnap is great for many reasons, the smell is amazing, the consistency is not too thick or too thin, it doesn't weigh your hair down and it controls frizz! I recently had a line of hair break at my part line, it's terrible, it looks like a Mohawk, well not now since using Redkin Antisnap, it actually relaxed the short pieces enough that they stayed down! I have tried many different leave ins, I usually don't like them because I have very long hair, they make it limp. The other thing that's great about this is it's not sticky at all on your hands or in your hair. I will continue to use this and buy it again.

The picture is 3 and half weeks apart from when I first time is used this product. Honestly this is the best product I have come across in a while. My hair is completely dead frazzled and dry from continuous highlights and bleach over the years yet in a matter of weeks it feels a lot healthier. I use it alongside the Redken shampoo and conditioner as well as the olaplex 3 which is just the best combo.

This product worked well in replenishing my hair. I have thick wavy hair so I straighten it daily and over the years it’s been damaged. This helped bring the healthier and more vibrant look to my hair. This was also paired with redken shampoo and conditioner so it may have been the consistent use of leave in treatment, shampoo and conditioner over time/ the smell was pleasant as well. This repair left a softness and shiny after a few days of usage. The lasting effect after a few weeks of treatment last about 3 weeks. It’s a great product and works in maintaining healthy hair if used continuously

I live in an area with well water, and despite having a household water treatment system, my hair has become brittle since living here. Anti-snap most definitely helps to prevent more breakage, but I've found that there is potential for overuse. Personally, using about half the week on and half off seems to be best to prevent my hair from feeling stiff. Also, I continue to use a love-in conditioner as this product doesn't necessarily make hair softer. Anti-snap has a pleasant smell and product feel, as well as being easy to work through hair.

I have very fine, wavy hair that has been color treated and heat styled. I feel like this helps reduce breakage because my hair seems like it's longer than it's been in years. But it also works well for me as a detangler to brush my hair right after a shower and it doesn't weigh my hair down at all (which is the first thing I look for when I air dry my wavy hair).

This magic bottle caught my eye when a friend of mine was selling her unused Ulta haul products after losing her hair. Since going through that bottle, I have continued to buy the leave in treatment from Ulta for about $20. This product is fantastic for oily roots and dry ends, it's a light formula that doesn't weigh down my hair while still smoothing and calming my crazy, frizzy ends! Even when my hair went through the ringer after I had a terrible salon experience with lightening my hair. It has always kept my hair soft and touchable, and a little bit goes a long way so I can make a bottle last for a long time! I like to use this combined with an oil on my ends, and it's a DREAM for dry hair!

I dye my hair every month, and I straighten it sometimes when I go out. My hair eventually became distressed and damaged. Parts were extremely dry and felt like straw, and my hair overall was not soft or had any life to it. I tried the mayo treatment, Pantene Overnight Miracle, and a few other products and none of them worked. I finally went to Great Clips and was suggested to get this... and I am so glad I did! It works absolute wonders! My hair is healthy and not damaged anymore. It only takes a few squirts, and the product isn't sticky in your hands... plus it smells like cotton candy!

Bought this seeking a good leave in treatment- sprayed the treatment in and combed through my hair, then blow dried. I didn't even need my straightener! I absolutely love this product! I got it in an influenster box along with the blondange purple shampoo and conditioner and my hair has literally never been so soft. I would definitely recommend using all 3 together because even using this alone with my old shampoo and conditioner my hair was not as soft as when I used a completely redken regimine, but this stuff still works wonders!! I recommend it to all my friends and it really does repair hair. Definitely will be keeping this product in my routine! I just wish that it was a little but more natural but considering how great it works!!

Ok now...this is the second time I bought the Anti Snap. The first time I did NOT use it, and threw it in the trash, SOLELY because of many articles written that it causes SEVERE "protein overload", builup, plus very brittle hair that will "snap/break off". I HAVE TO SEE it for myself, as my hair is extremely dry, damaged, high porosity, dyed & bleached blonde, and naturally curly. I'm white with blue eyes from Barcelona, Spain, and my hair is very coarse and thick; natural color is dark ash blonde.
SO I WILL try it and report back. My hair is devastating to me; I try everything.

My stylist told me to stop using it because after your hair is stronger it will have the opposite effect and start drying out hair. So it’s very good if you have damaged hair but not great when you have less damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complementary for testing purposes along with the shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been using all three in combination and had great results with my highlighted blonde hair. These products keep brassiness at bay, however I wish they were slightly more hydrating. I would recommend to a friend though!

So I recently started using Redken because I bleached my hair and a lot of people recommended their extreme damage line. I bought the shampoo conditioner the leave in and a hair mask. All of these products have done so well for my hair. I had overprocessed bleached blond hair and needed a lot of conditioning and mositure. This product conditioned it as well as prevented a lot of my hair from falling out. Plus the breakage I had was insane to where whenever I'd shake my hair just a little I had little pieces breaking off. Since using this product I have not had that issue since. :)

I love extreme anti-snap. I've been using it longer than I can remember. I used to have a ton of split ends, but since I've been using this, I never have them. My hair looks great. I just wish they hadn't changed to a spray bottle from a pump. I love being able to see a certain amount in my palm and just spreading it where I want it as opposed to spraying and having no control over where it lands. Now I have to spray 6 or 7 pumps into my hand and I still don't get as much as I want. I'd be pumping forever. The consistency of the product seems a bit thinner than before, which I don't like. I'm only a third into the new spray version so we'll see if I still feel the same way about it down the line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This anti-snap treatment works so well for me! It's easy to use, spray on damp hair and blow-dry. The scent is light but smells clean and fresh. My hair dries faster, with more stretch and flexibility. I am so glad I tried this, because I will be buying this in the future.

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
