[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product like I would use any other molding paste. Highlights the way it held my hair but you have to use a ton of the product to achieve any decent look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair was completely dry when I used NYC Grooming's Redken Brews High Hold Pomade, so it did probably take a little extra time to work. Overall I think it's a really great product. You do not need a lot of product to hold a large volume of hair. And my hair it quite longer at the moment due to the quarantine situation. The only somewhat negative thing I will say is the scent reminds me of something or someone. But its perhaps a better version of that scent so it might turn the tides on the negativity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is thin and I need to give them volume.This product is perfect to create a natural look.It has stronger,longer hold.It has a nice fresh scent.I recommend it to apply on hair when they are semi-dry.It doesn't leave any kind of greasy or shiny looking hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Redken Brews High Hold Pomade does not really compare to other products I have tried. It has a much better hold than most products I have tried without leaving nasty residue in my hands or hair.
I would certainly buy the Redken Brews High Hold Pomade again. I am not sure when because the efficiency of the pomade will last a long time.
I was not aware of the Redken Brews High Hold Pomade before participating in this program.
I have already recommended the Redken Brews High Hold Pomade to my friends and brothers. This stuff is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The High Hold Pomade gave me problems from the start. First of all, the aroma was not too pleasant. At first glance I thought the Pomade was black, it turned out to be clear, the container was black. It was very thick and difficult to spread it on my hands. After trying to work it into my hair, I was disappointed, it was difficult to apply it evenly. This is one Redken Product I would not recommend. Other Redken hair pomades worked much better, was easy to apply and smelled great. The High Hold Pomade needs some improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Redken Brews High Hold Pomade works so much better than the AXE brand pomade I was using previously and it doesn't leave my hair as stiff as the AXE brand. On top of that, my hair feels normal after using it, not sticky or tacky like other brands leave it feeling. And on top of all of that, it smells fantastic!
I'm definitely going to switch to using Redken from here on and would very much recommend it to others as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is pretty darn good. Use it in damp hair and forget about for the rest of the day. Your hair stays in place with no oily/greasy byproduct. Smells really good. The only drawback is I applied to my hair being dried one time. Had to wet my hair to restyled because it wasn't moving with dry hair. I highly recommended this product

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
