Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5-Minute Hair Mask for Damaged Hair

I've suffering from hair breakage and shedding recently and REDKEN Acid Bonding Concentrate mask is like a miracle repair for hair. This 5 minute hair mask truly strengthened my hair as I notice less shedding and breakage and also made my hair look much healthier overall. Every time I use it, it deeply conditions my hair and adds tremendous texture and volume as well as adds shine and rejuvenates my hair. It's something I desperately needed to revitalize my hair and give it that bouncy look and feel that I truly wanted. I'd absolutely be keeping this in my hair routine forever and also recommend it to those experiencing same issues as I do. This mask is absolutely a game changer for me and I know for sure that it would help me achieve my hair goal in very little time as each time I see better results. Truly a phenomenal product!

I normally get bonding treatments along with color at a salon, but it's been a while since my last appointment, and I'm well overdue to have my ends trimmed. My hair is not very porous, despite the damage from coloring; lamellar water treatments don't work for me, and I have to be careful with protein. I was a little worried because of the silicone content in this, but my hair came out beautifully! How I used it was: I swapped it out for conditioner on a regular wash day, left it on for 5 minutes, then rinsed with lukewarm water. I'm including before/after pics; both before and after were taken after I plopped, let my hair air dry, and then slept with it in a braid. I hate when people show an "after" that's been heat-styled, so I wanted to make sure the way it was naturally was as similar as possible for both. The effect lasted until the next wash day and beyond. I'll keep using it weekly as per the directions, but I plan to use a clarifying shampoo before each use to make sure I'm not getting too much silicone buildup. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this product.

I found the consistency was quite thin, and I needed to use a lot of product for my medium-length, thick hair. I did notice an immediate improvement in the strength of my hair. It felt a lot less brittle. It was also shiny and nicely defined. However, this product is not moisturizing enough for my thick hair that needs a lot of moisture. For someone with thinner hair, this would be perfect though because it would nourish it without weighing it down.

Then a few days later I tried it again and I could feel that my hair felt cleaner and just more fresh? The instructions say to only use on the bottom half of your hair but I wanted my whole head of hair to feel that amazing so I put it everywhere and I definitely don't recommend that as my head was insanely greasy! I was so excited about this product that I used it on my daughter's hair which is very thick and gets tangled easy. After one use her hair was so much easier to comb through. I really love and recommend this product! I'll definitely keep this on hand from now on.

The 1st time I tried this shampoo and mask I was running late, threw my hair up in a clip, took it down to sleep, and it wasn't until I was leaning forward to wash my face the next morning that it fell over my shoulder and I actually looked at my hair. Even after not adding any styling products the day before and then sleeping on it, I was shocked to see how soft, shiny, and defined the curls were with no effort! Unheard of with my hair! I took these photos that morning I was so floored by the change! It smells incredible as well! I'm never going back to any other products!

So I usually struggle with dry hair that's also somewhat damaged from what I've put it through. I was so excited to try this Redken 5min liquid mask. Let me tell you, I'm a believer now! My hair felt absolutely amazing just after one use. I have used olaplex for a long time and it made my hair feel nice but Redken 5min mask takes the cake! It's better than olaplex in my opinion. My hair was much softer and hydrated. The waves were more uniform and less frizzy. My hair just felt healthier and looked healthier and more shiny. I think I'm going to ditch the expensive olaplex system & switch to Redken. My mine has been blown with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this product, both are great if you use them together. The shampoo leaves the hair soft and manageable. But my favorite is the conditioner. It is a cream that is left in the hair for 5 minutes and it is wonderful. It leaves the hair soft and when you stylize it you do not need to add other products since it also acts as a heat protector. And your hair is smooth and frizz-free. I am always looking for products to improve the texture of my hair and I will definitely buy them again. The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't smell good, it doesn't smell ugly either but it's not a pleasant smell. Not for me.
