Use as a complete regimen with Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner and Leave-In Treatment. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse. Follow with Acidic Bonding Concentrate conditioner. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo works great for my heavily highlighted and bleached hair. I go to the salon for highlights about every three months my hair deeply pays the price for this. After using the shampoo, my hair is smoother, and I have less breakage. I think my hair looks brighter and it's more manageable after using the shampoo.
It has extended the life of my color treatment by at least a month. I think this shampoo is an innovative product and is very new and different from anything else available right now. Redken is always my first choice when choosing haircare products.

This stuff works. I bought this along with the conditioner, & leave in treatment Redken Acidic Perfecting Leave-In Treatment for Damaged Hair & it made my hair feel so much stronger & softer. The smell is also nice. It creates a luxurious lather in the shower & my hair also had bounce. This is on the higher end, as far as price goes, but if you can afford to splurge, I would definitely recommend if you have color treated, damaged hair.

I really like the smell, it's like an effervescent orange scent and it's uplifting while giving a high end vibe. It creates a creamy lather. As for the results, I noticed an improvement immediately. My hair felt stronger after the first wash, and it dried looking shiny and healthy.

I am Asian with typically jet black coarse wavy hair that I’ve bleached in a balayage to some parts dark blonde. The ends are dry and anyone who bleaches know how crispy your hair can feel. This Redken system is perfect for my needs and I can feel the hydration in my hair after shampooing and conditioning. I love that there is a leave in cream after towel drying to help lock in the moisture. I’ve seen and felt a difference which is critical as I’m planning another round of a lighter balayage soon.

Received this free complimentary sample Redken acidic bonding concentrate from #Sopost/Facebook, I was excited to try it cause I dye my hair all the time so is kind of damaged. I was thinking it was at least a small travel sample like they show on the picture, but instead I received 1 small, 1 use sample. Is really not enough to really tell if it will works or not. . The shampoo i really loved it the minute you start working with your hair is worth it, loved the smell is very nice, ciyric acid 7% bonding care complex. Will most definitely be buying this shampoo .

This shampoo, combined with the conditioner is intensely hydrating. This shampoo immediately feels like a game changer, like a wash only used in the finest salons. I could feel my hair instantly start to feel slippery and full of moisture, almost as if my hair had been freshly cut. The smell is fantastic, the lathering action is great, but there is something inherently special about this shampoo. It binds on a deep layer making my hair feel young and healthy. It's phenomenal. I love it because my curls are transformed to silky ringlets that are soft and touchable and defined.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a natural red head with curly hair, frizz is a fact of life. It is often dull and coarse with undefined frizzy curls and endless tangles. The 1st time I tried this shampoo and mask I was running late, threw my hair up in a clip, took it down to sleep, and it wasn't until I was leaning forward to wash my face the next morning that it fell over my shoulder and I actually looked at my hair. Even after not adding any styling products the day before and then sleeping on it, I was shocked to see how soft, shiny, and defined the curls were with no effort! Unheard of with my hair! I took these photos that morning I was so floored by the change! It smells incredible as well! I'm never going back to any other products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shampoo because it doesn't strip my hair of moisturize. Most shampoos leave my hair straw like, this one doesn't.
It's thick in consistency, It lathers up well and smells nice, mild scent.
I think even thought it's meant to be safe for color hair and protect my color from fading, it actually wash my color away. I say this because I used this shampoo a few days after I color my hair and well my color is a few shades light which doesn't usually happen. It's also the shampoo I used the day before I color my hair. I don't know. It's good otherwise.
Oh yeah it kind of hard to squeeze shampoo out of bottle for me. A pump may be better.

I recently received the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Treatment complimentary in exchange for my review. I'm someone who loves to color their hair with different colors so over the years its caused damaged and left my hair lacking its usual luster. I'm usually looking for products to maintain the moisture so When I set my eyes on this product I fell in love After the 1st time used I could tell there was a difference already. My hair felt smoother and stronger and like I hadn't colored in years will definitely recommend.

I dye my hair black to cover a previously bad blond highlights, so after the box dye my hair is dull and dry…. But not anymore. Together the conditioner and shampoo left my over processed hair shiny and smooth. It took about 5 days. I didn't want to leave a review until I actually tried it for the full 5 days. My hair is soft, shiny and really beautiful. I'm so in love with this. The shampoo and conditioner smells very lovely too and it's over powering. I can honestly say that the combo and the price point is so worth it. It's definitely one of those a little goes a long way.

It is comparable to Olaplex, but so much better. If you are looking for a good PH balanced shampoo to help repair and prevent damage to your hair, this is what you need to get. This shampoo does wonders and you can most definitely see the difference after just one use. I noticed that my hair had less shedding while shampooing now from prior shampoo. My hair looks so much healthier and feels soft, smooth and silky after the first wash. Now when I style I have less frizz. My hair feels amazing.

But my favorite is the conditioner. It is a cream that is left in the hair for 5 minutes and it is wonderful. It leaves the hair soft and when you stylize it you do not need to add other products since it also acts as a heat protector. And your hair is smooth and frizz-free. I am always looking for products to improve the texture of my hair and I will definitely buy them again. The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't smell good, it doesn't smell ugly either but it's not a pleasant smell. Not for me.

It’s a gentle, effective, PH balanced shampoo with a fresh scent. The formula is thick and you don't need to use much, it spreads evenly and easily on the scalp and it foams up beautifully! My hair stay clean longer than after other shampoo which I used before.
I have been using this shampoo with the matching conditioner and leave-in treatment and I’m very satisfied how my blonde hair look.

There was an immediate difference and I used once a week for three weeks and loved how strong my hair felt. I highlight my hair blonde so the ends of my hair are usually dry and damaged and I loved how soft they felt after using this. One concern was there was a warning on the back of the products not to be exposed to the sun after using. With this going on my scalp it can be hard to stay out of the sun completely. Other than that the packaging was created with recycled plastic and very sleek looking. The product is expensive but worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this, I really did. However, it doesn't clean my scalp very well. As soon as my hair dries it looks greasy. I thought maybe something was going on with my hair and used an old shampoo, and when my hair dried out looked fine. Keep in mind, that my hair is fine, but I have a lot of it, also I air dry 99% of the time and solely used these products while testing them. it might work for you, but I don't think the shampoo is worth it. I have progression pictures attached, I haven't cut or dyed my hair since I started and the picture where my hair looks cooler in tone is the most recent. The conditioners did seem to help the ends of my hair though.

Here’s a little rundown of what I thought. When I first started using the shampoo it had a very thick consistency. I would rate the shampoo three stars out of five. I like my shampoo to be silky and soft. Once I lathered it on my scalp it was soothing. The scent was not overbearing which I actually liked. Overall I felt less breakage and split ends.

When I realized it's for colored hair, I gave it to a friend who recently got her hair colored by a professional at a salon. While using this shampoo. she saw the color coming out of her hair going into the bathtub. When she was finished, her hair had changed from dark teal to light teal. I feel horrible. I would not have given it to her if I had known it would mess up her hair color. It took 3 trips to the salon to get that color: they had to bleach it, then color it, then add a color protector. All it took was one wash to ruin all that. We both normally love Redken products but this one was an epic fail.

I have color treated, highlighted and long hair. This shampoo just fixed damaged hair especially ugly split ends. I have ZERO split ends right now and my hair just feels silky, shiny and moisturized. There is a slight scent but nothing over powering. I am just over all impressed with this shampoo. It lathers well and a little goes a long way.

I found that this product helped prevent more breakage and even possibly mend my split ends. My hair was smooth and soft after every use. The leave in conditioner is lightweight, if you use a small amount. At one point I used a little more than a quarter size and my hair felt heavy and weighed down. The set has a small scent, that almost reminds me of a pine scent like Christmas, but it is not overbearing! Since my hair is lightened, I didn’t notice it stripping color or tone at all. I’m extremely happy with this item!

When I first put it in my hand, I noticed the consistency was unique to any shampoo I had previously used. It was much thicker than your average shampoo. It created great suds, and was moisturizing on it’s own- sure, once I rinsed it left my hair feeling a bit stiff as shampoos often do when they strip away the oils from your scalp and hair, but still felt better than others do after rinsing. My hair isn’t dyed so I can’t speak to impacts on color. Picture in green shirt is my hair prior to the shower, next picture is after using all 3 Redken products (shampoo, conditioner & leave in) and third picture in red is the next day, hair styled using @bouncecurl products after the Redken line and diffused after letting it air dry over night. I will use this regularly as I think my curls look more defined and controlled after using these products!

This helped put moisture in and help repair her hair damage, made it more easier to brush thru and felt tons better in one wash. Wow!! If you have dry or color treated hair this is the shampoo for you. My hair sucked it up so quickly and the shine afterwards was noticably amazing. Smells just like starburst candy to me. I will be purchasing the conditioner today. It made my hair feel stronger, look more shiny and took away any product build up. I love it #redkin #hair

So far I’ve used it three times and my hair looks and feels so much softer, smoother, and healthier. Before receiving the full set (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in treatment) in a #voxbox, I was previously using the leave-in treatment that I had received in the 1oz size last month, and it made my hair softer. First I have to say that my thick coarse hair has never felt so healthy before! It looks so shiny, thin and feels very smooth. The shampoo works really well. A little bit of product goes a long way. That’s saying a lot because I have really long thick hair. I’ll admit the smell of the shampoo is slightly odd. It reminds me of a chemical smell. However, it does a great job at cleaning the scalp and hair. When I pair the conditioner with the shampoo, my hair feels very clean and detangled. The shampoo and conditioner work great together. By the way, the conditioner smells really good. It overpowers the chemical smell from the shampoo. It lasts a long time as well, even when I’m done rinsing out my hair. I would definitely recommend the shampoo and the rest of the set. It is expensive for each product, however you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. My hair feels and smells like I just had an appointment at the salon! Lol. I’m going to invest in this set again when I run out. It’s my new favorite

The first time I used the whole set, my hair felt absolutely incredible and I noticed a difference immediately. My scalp didn't get as oily on day two hair so I was excited. When I washed the next time, my hair almost felt like straw; definitely not the same silky feeling from the first wash. So I waited a few weeks and gave it another try and was much happier. While I love the whole system, it isn't something I can use "daily" and since it didn't say how often it should be used, I wasn't entirely sure. This will probably a system I use once or twice a month.

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .
No, I do not recommend this product.

If you use it correctly, it is magical

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.
Yes, I recommend this product.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
