Not even close to Fresh Curl Boost.

I've been using Fresh Curl, Curl Boost for several years and this product doesn't even come close. I brought 2 of your new products this one and Full Curly Waive Serum and needless to say both of these combined wasn't good enough to manage my thick, curly, wavy hair. These products were recommended by hair stylist. I can't believe the Fresh Curl, Curl boost is discontinued. Fresh Curl, Curl boost was a product that you could literally get out of shower and apply. That was it! No frizz and curls were full with bounce. These 2 products make my hair frizzy and flat! Redken needs to bring back Fresh Curls, Curl Boost!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Also Disappointed with Curvaceous range

Gosh this new range is proving quite unpopular something obviously is not quite right with it! I am so disappointed it has not quite lived up to the hype it was given. I find the shampoo is too heavy for my fine curly hair and my hair seems to be oily only after just washing it and I hate the fact it doesn't lather up properly. The biggest shame though is the Fresh Curls curl boost which suited my hair perfectly and it had taken me years to find a product as good. The wind up spray is just ok. It's such a small bottle though I feel it just really isn't value for money as gets used up so quickly.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bring back the Fresh Curls line!

I've been a longtime user of Redken and Matrix products for my curly hair and always knew the Fresh Curls Curt Boost would give my curls lasting definition without frizz. I didn't know the line has been discontinued and bought $6.00 samples of the Curvaceous shampoo, conditioner, and ringlet products. What a disappointment! I didn't like any of them. I could deal with the unpleasant scent if the products worked. The shampoo didn't lather and left my hair feeling unclean, the conditioner seemed more "cream rinsey" than a true conditioner, and the Ringlet product was an odd, sticky goo that left my hair feeling limp and definitely NOT bouncy, fresh-feeling curls. ICK! I'm just glad I bought the samples first.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Very disappointed with the new product line

I am very disappointed that the Fresh Curls curl boost has been discontinued, and ALL the fresh curls products have been changed. The new "curvaceous" line is nothing like the fresh curls line and is absolutely HORRIBLE to my hair. I will not buy any of the new Redken products again because it is a complete waste of money. I used to advertise how good Redken fresh curls was to complete strangers whom loved my hair, but now I am trying to find a new line that will take care of my hair like the fresh curls line. This new Curvaceous Line does not hold waves or curls like the old Fresh Curls line did, and the smell of the Curvaceous ringlet and wind up spray is Terrible!!!!! Please bring back the old formula!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not what I expected.

My sister who has natural curls told me about your curl boost. She loved it and the way it made her hair look and feel. Left her hair soft and natural looking. So I went to salon and ask for the curl boost and they said this was the same thing new name. No way! It left my hair crunchy and not curly and very dry feeling. Naturally curly hair does not need something that dries it out! I went on line and found the curl boost but the cheapest I found was $50.00 plus shipping!! Think Redken needs to bring back the old product and lose the new one!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not what I

Redken recommend this product to me recently. I had been using CCC spray and loved it. But you have discontinued it and this is the 2nd time you have discontinued something I liked and worked well for my hair. I have only used this new product 1 time and I put it on wet hair and let my hair dry naturally like I do often. My hair was sooo frizzy. I have never seen my hair look like that. I am not interested in using it again. Wish I could get my money back. Please bring back the CCC spray are the old school fresh curls.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Please Bring Fresh Curls Booster Spray Back!!!

A coworker let me use the Fresh Curls Booster spray and I fell in love with it. I just recently tried to find it in salons and am so very disappointed that it is discontinued. I bought some of the curvaceous line and it does not come close to controlling the frizz or making my hair shine like the Booster spray did. I am very disappointed. Please bring the Fresh Curls Booster Spray back. Will you consider bringing it back? Thank you Shawna

DON'T USE IF YOU HAVE NATURALLY CURLY HAIR

Weighs down my curls, makes my hair feel super schnasty and greasy. I'm very disappointed that Redken discontinued the Fresh Curls Curl Boost spray because it worked so well! This is not that spray so don't waste your money. I've used Redken products on my hair since I was 16 years old, but with the release of this terrible product line that is not curly hair friendly, I've already started buying other brands to find a replacement.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Why???

I have been using this product for YEARS now! I use it in combination with several of your curly hair products (along with you shampoo and conditioner) and I am so disappointed that you've discontinued the product! I can't find anything like it on the market...I've tried using Xmondo Sea Salt Spray but it doesn't come close. Why would you discontinue this product and do you have plans to replace it with something?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Fresh Curls curl refiner was perfect for my hair. Unfortunately I didn't buy up prior to the discontinuation. When is it coming back? I'm not going to throw away money trying to find a replacement and based upon the reviews on line it seems like it would be a waste of money. Just tell me where I can get some fresh curls curl refiner.... And don't tell me to call your 800 # for a replacement. I want fresh curls....

Curvaceous line, terrible attempt to replace Fresh

it is clear that the curvaceous line is a complete failure. I've tried myself and it is as average as other products from other brands. You had the best product line 'Fresh curl' why is it phased out? Why can you not bring it back in production? I'm not interested to get my money back. I would like to understand the logic of your product management that seems to neglect compeltely honest feedback from customers.

Okay so along with the Redken Diamond Oil, I also got this small travel size product at a beauty store near me and I love this just as much. My natural hair is thick and super wavy (thanks to my spanish genes) and this lightweight product really helps to define my waves. It is very difficult to find products that are not heavy but do the job sufficiently and I must say, this is top 5. Great product GREAT brand.

Please, Please, Please - bring this product back! Nothing compares to this spray - I have used it for years and years on my fine, but ringlet curly hair. I find the best curl results by using a combination of Redken products and this one is always in the mix. It's difficult to perfect curls and even more so when our "go-to's" disappear. From a very loyal user, please consider bringing this product back!

Have used Fresh Curl boost for a long time and like others, can't believe you discontinued it. This new product doesn't give the finish of defined curls. I have permed hair and Fresh Curls extended the life of the perm as it grew out - scrunching in wet hair tightened the curls up. Please bring back the Curl Boost product. I am currently searching for a replacement as you haven't provided one!

No, I do not recommend this product.

In my search for the perfect anti frizz product I found this in a sample size and decided to try it. It works adequately on my fine textured curls. However, I have to use a lot of product to achieve frizz control. This leaves my hair feeling stiff and (to me) dirty. It’s ok in a pinch but I would not recommend for finer textured curls and waves.

I have never found a product to tame my frizzy curly unruly hair. I received this in a sample pack, and love it! Just spray it on my wet hair and go, no drying, using any other products or styling. And with the spray bottle you have no mess on your hands! Doesn't leave a wet look like most styling products. My curls hold all day long! Thank you!

I agree with all the other reviews. I went to go buy the old formula and was told they don't make it anymore. Tried it today. Horrible. My hair looks awful. And its a small bottle and not cheap. Im going to see if I can return it. A complete waste of money. The old product was fabulous. It also has a horrible smell that clashes with my perfume.

Why?

A friend of mine gave me a bottle of the Redkin Fresh Curls Curl Boost after I had my hair permed. Seems she had a bottle and didn't use it. I LOVED it! Rarely have I been lucky enough to find a product that works so well and made my hair look instantly better. When I went to buy more, I was shocked and horrified to find out that it had been discontinued! So I purchased this product, believing it would be similar and work as well. WAS I WRONG! It didn't come close! I will now have to start searching AGAIN for another product that works. It's so difficult to find just the right hair styling product so when something as good as Curl Boost is gone, my big question is WHY? After reading so many reviews from people as disappointed as I am, WHY wouldn't Redkin at least CONSIDER bringing the product back? Why did Redkin have to stop making Curl Boost? I would be happy to pay more for the product if it was brought back! Can anything be done to start making it again?

No, I do not recommend this product.

I am digging this stuff! I love me some hydrated curls. I have wavy to curly hair naturally and a few spritzes of this and I am good to go, it is light weight, not sticky or overpowering, a great package, affordable. It keeps your curls hydrated and bouncy for shine and long lasting curls without frizz! I’d recommend this

This line does not even come close to the Fresh Curls product line. I was so happy to finally have found a spray that held my curls perfect for all day. For the first few hours, Wind Up Spray is great: it doesn't feel crunchy but gives curls bounce and volume. These qualities are not long-lasting, however...I tend to use this spray if I have a morning meeting or shower before going out. But for days when I need my hair in place hours later, I go with a different product.

I have wavy/curly hair that curls up best when diffusing. This spray helps define and gives curls more bounce without making it crunchy or weighing it down. The actual spray distribution could be better - it often feels like it's not getting sprayed evenly throughout my hair but rather concentrated on one spot more.

Like many others said before, the Curl Boost product suited my needs better than this product. Too bad, because I have been a loyal customer for over ten years. I preferred the smell and anti-frizzness of Curl boost. On top of that, Curl Boost was better value for money (more ml for a lower price)

Bring back the old Fresh Curls Gel PLEASE

I was very disappointed the old Fresh Curls spray gel has been discontinued. I will not buy any Redken products again until the old gel is brought back. I will tell all my friends and family member who used this line not to bother anymore. I used to advertise how good Redken was and people I knew started buying from them. But no longer. This new Curvaceous Line does not apply on hair and weighs hair down and makes it stringy and oily. Waves or curls do not hold in hair as the old Fresh Curls did. I don't know why it says to "reapply throughout the day" as if it they are just trying to make us buy more in desperate need to keep spraying. I returned it after one use. Also, the smell is terrible and overpowers any perfume i am wearing. It is unbearable, and I am not even picky about smells. I just use products if the products does what it is supposed to do no matter what the smell. However, this curvaceous formula doesn't do anything AND has a Terrible Odor. I will no longer look for Redken products.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

If you use it correctly, it is magical

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

Yes, I recommend this product.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

No, I do not recommend this product.

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
