I used BODY FULL shampoo for years. I loved it. It left my thin, fine hair healthy, soft, and feeling clean with a light scents. I tried High Rise Volume. It has left my hair greasy and heavy in comparison to the Body Full. I then tried Beach Envy which I eventually found an okay substitute to Body Full. It has also been discontinued now so I tried this again. No, it's still terrible; it has left my hair heavy and oily with a cloying scent.
Please reconsider bringing back a shampoo that is cleansing and light with a decent scent that won't turn my hair into an oily limp mess. Please bring back Body Full.

Even though I have super fine hair, I typically shy away from Volumizing formulas because they tend to be drying. I just started using this product and I really like it! I get body and shine without the stripping and drying effect. I will say I don't use its matching conditioner...I chose to pair it with the Redken Color Magnetics conditioner to give my ends more moisture. This combination really works well for mess I get the lift I need at the room and the extra moisture on the ends. Also the price point is amazing and less than other brands I often use.

As far as volumizing shampoos I've tried this is a top 3 for me. I first received a sample and tried it on my fine thin oily hair. I typically blow dry to add volume but I decided to air dry. I went to bed expecting my hair to be a limp lifeless mess in the morning. Instead it was bouncy and full. It definitely had lots of volume compared to normal. The shampoo smells nice, lathers well and rinses easily without leftover residue. My hair felt clean also. Redken is a high end brand but well worth the price in my opinion. You get what you pay for!

I received this as a sample in a subscription box. I was a bit disappointed at first when I saw the sample packet because I have a lot of hair and it didn't seem like enough shampoo to do the job...but I was wrong. This shampoo has amazing lather power and I was able to wash all of my hair with one small packet. The smell is very mild and the shampoo rinsed clean with out making my hair feel coarse. My hair also felt full and soft once dry. I would recommend and purchase this product.

I bought this a couple weeks ago, hoping to get some volume in my long, straight and thin hair. I was surprised that it had so little lather to it that I had to add 3-4 extra pumps of it to cover my hair completely. I’m really disappointed and I won’t buy this again. Before I try a different brand, I’ll try a different formula though. I have always used Redken and I don’t want to switch to something else unless I have to. I bought the liter bottle of course and now I have to throw it out and get something different. That’s how bad it is. I don’t complain about products unless there’s something serious to mention. This was definitely worth mentioning because I spent a lot money on what I thought was going to build up my volume. Oh well, live and learn I guess. I’m writing this to hopefully help someone else.

I tried the High Rise shampoo after Body Full was discontinued. I could not tolerate the chemical smell and it didn't do a goo job cleaning my hair. I then tried the Beach Envy and loved it!!!! I can't believe that Redken is discontinuing the better of the two volumizing shampoos. My guess is that not enough distributors offered the Beach Envy since I had to work hard to find it. Guess I'm going to have to find some other shampoo manufacturer to meet my needs.

This came out concurrently with another favourite Redken shampoo line; Redken Beach Envy Shampoo Volumizing & Texturizing Shampoo For Big Beachy Texture . I prefer the later but it wasn't an option to review on this list given to me by Influenster.
I think the city volume does work decently well when used with the conditioner by the same name. The trick is to shampoo twice and when you condition, don't use on your roots.

I am so sad and disappointed with this shampoo and conditioner. Body Full was absolutely amazing and I am appalled Redken discontinued that line.
This High Rise shampoo and conditioner makes my hair flat and tangled. It does nothing positive for my hair. Body Full gave my hair so much life and volume and I haven't been able to find anything comparable to it.
Do not waste your money on this product. :(

Amazing shampoo! I was a little nervous buying this at first since it is on the pricey side. But, I'm happy I did. I have very fine hair and not a lot of it so I need as much volume I can get. Using a lot of product just makes my hair look greasy so I knew I needed a powerful shampoo. This did the trick. I can air dry my hair or blow dry it with very minimal product to achieve perfect volume.

The Beach Envy bottle worked wonderfully for my thick, wavy hair. It cleaned it well and brought out the waves. I was also able to blow it out and straighten it using this product. It was completely versatile for my hair. When will you bring back a shampoo that's good for thick wavy hair and not necessarily curly which is what curvacious is for? I would not reccommend this shampoo.

I stocked up on Body Full shortly after it was announced it would be discontinued. I recently used the last of my stock. The High Rise Volume Lifting Shampoo replacement recommendation can’t compare to Body Full shampoo. I have fine hair and no other Redkin product gives me the volume I got from Body Full. Redkin please listen to your customers. Bring back the original Body Full.

To be honest I hate the smell of this, but it's worth it! Love the volume it gives me and if my hair ever starts to feel dry, I alternate this with a different shampoo to give my hair a break. This is definitely not for people looking for something moisturizing! Love it so much for my fine hair that could barely make it to second day hair without this!

The Redken high-rise volume lifting shampoo is not a win in Redken’s book. So it smells nice in the packaging is OK I didn’t find that there was any more volume than I was normally getting from any other volumizing shampoo I didn’t even find that it was more volumizing than even a regular sulfate free shampoo definitely not one I would choose again

This product was recommended to me even though I am a man I found this product to be quite dramatic to my hair in a very positive way. I will use it and then style my hair with nothing else but a comb and my hands and it is fresh for days. Just have to splash a little water here and there for the style in the AM and it's done. Great Product...

I love this shampoo and conditioner so much. The first thing I loved immediately was the wonderful smell. It smells light and fruity. It made my hair look fabulous and voluminized, especially at the roots. My hair is curly and frizzy, but this did the job. It smoothed and added volume but my favorite was it kept my curls looking great!

I was struggling with so many shampoo & conditioners weighing down my hair along with making it super greasy where I couldn’t last a day without washing it. I found it works BEST with people who struggle with an oily scalp. Now my blow outs last for days instead of one and I am in love with the way it smells! Wouldn’t change a thing!

What on earth were you thinking to discontinue Body Full? It was perfect! This stuff is terrible. It weighs my fine hair down and leaves a residue. Also, it has triggered my seborrhea dermatitis. I have more than half of the large bottle left and have to throw it away which is a huge waste of money! I'm so disappointed in Redken.

I have used every shampoo ever made and BODY FULL was the best ever , my hair looked , smellled & felt amazing all the years I used BODY FULL!! Was sold this by my long time hair stylist as the next-best thing after BodyFull was discontinued. BodyFull was great, had used for years, this stuff is horrible! Left my hair flat and limp. Tossed it. Am now searching through other products trying to find a decent replacement. PLEASE REDKEN - BRING BACK BODYFULL!!

This conditioner is light enough that I can use it daily if needed but strong enough if I only wash it twice that week. It doesn't seem to weigh my thin hair down or add excess oil after a day. The price is comparable to other brands in its same class. I'd probably buy again after rotating with something else.

I had my hair cut at Ulta and this shampoo was recommended for my fine hair to add volume. I should note I also have oily hair and this shampoo was so lightweight and cleansing that it didn’t create any issues by making my hair greasy! I can’t say it helped a ton with volume but I still like it was daily use!

It's ok but not NEARLY as good as the Body Full they discontinued and replaced with this. Don't see any volumizing and it doesn't give me the shine that always got me compliments from everyone, including hairdressers! This just isn't worth the $. I've found stuff from Suave that works as well.

I was a user of Body Full for 20 + years and loved it. The new High Rise shampoo leaves my hair limp with no body at all. I would not recommend this at all. Guess I will have to find another product as a voluminous shampoo. Hopefully, they will be smart enough to bring back Body Full.

This has a great scent, and the conditioner is really nice. I didn’t notice a ton of volume added to my hair, so it’s basically a standard shampoo. It is gentle enough to use daily, but the cost may not be worth the investment. Overall, not a terrible product, just doesn’t blow my mind!

tried several of Redkin products. Nothing compares to Body Full Shampoo for fine flat hair. Why when it is in demand would you take it off the market? Switching to another brand and am very unhappy that I am forced to do it. Full Body was an excellent shampoo consider bringing it back.

I used Body Full in the past and my stylist at Ulta recommended High Rise as an alternative after Body Full was discontinued. I find that High Rise is a good product for my very fine and thin hair. My hair looks fuller after shampooing and conditioning with it and styling with Guts 10.

Again. You just go wrong with high end hair care. I get all my products from a local salon (I have a co-worker who is a hair stylist), she hooks me up. With my fine hair this volumizing shampoo amps up my style. It smells great and leaves my hair so soft and full. I just love it.

I have used your products exclusively for over 40 years and am having trouble finding one I want to use now. I have been trying other brands but would love to stay with Redken.

Love the smell of this and for a hair salon shampoo, I find this to be pretty affordable and also something you can trust more compared to drugstore shampoos. This is a product salons trust, they won’t sell products that could cause damage to your hair or leave behind residues!

This shampoo (and conditioner) smells uh-mazing! It's perfect for fine hair that needs a little extra oomph! It gets the hair clean, soft and smelling great without weighing it down! I have fine, curly hair and this is my go-to shampoo because it doesn't weigh down my curls!

This product is a life saver! I have very fine hair, that gets oily easily, so volume without buildup is a must for me. This shampoo delivers. I could see more volume after only one use, and at the end of the day, my hair didn't look oily. The shampoo also has a great scent!

For anyone like me with flat straight hair this Shampoo is for you!! It’s a great way to start your hair styling with. I think it can be used for both oily or dry hair. It smells amazing and my hair feels great after using it. I’m highly satisfied and definitely recommend!

The worst shampoo I have ever used. I have always used Body Full and was very happy with it. High Rise cannot possibly be a replacement for Body Full. I have binned my High Rise after 2 weeks of using it. Found Body Full in a travel bag I had and the difference is amazing.

This product was recommended by my hairdresser and it is terrible. It left my fine hair limp, and looking and feeling oily. This was my first time to use a Redken product and I will definitely be going back to the Biolage Full Density product!! Total waste of my money!

I really enjoyed this shampoo! It smelled incredible and gave me instant results. My hair felt lighter and therefore I had more volume in my thin hair. As much as I loved this product I can no longer purchase it because it isn't sulphate free and I have dyed red hair.

Great shampoo! I have very thin hair. And it shows dirt and oil very quickly. This shampoo and conditioner are great for my hair. They don’t weigh my hair down. My hair doesn’t look greasy and gross with this duo! I would recommend this to anyone with thin hair.

I really liked this shampoo. I'm kind of a serial shampoo changer, I rarely buy the same one twice. However I've bought this one twice. It smells good, makes my hair feel clean but not a stripped level of clean. It also helps me add the volume to my hair I'm wanting.

I love how this stuff makes my hair feel and smell. I have such fine hair naturally and this adds so much texture and volume. I feel like my hair stays clean for a couple days as well (minus small sprays with dry shampoo to my roots). It is a new favorite for sure.

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
