EXTREME SHAMPOO

My stylists have always recommended them and I was excited to try this particular product which I received free in exchange for my review! I've been working hard on repairing my damaged curly hair by using extra hydrating products and never using heat. This product lathered really well and my scalp felt really clean afterward. It didn't feel like it was stripping the moisture out of my hair, but actually felt like my tresses were smooth and frizz-free after shampooing. I think it definitely works best paired with the conditioner. I'm going to keep using it to see if my hair does in fact become stronger and less damaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited, and a little nervous to try out the Redken Protein Shampoo & Conditioner Set. Excited because the right amount of protein can transform lifeless hair, and too much protein turns it brittle. Keeping that in mind with the frequency that you wash, and also with the products you use, I think this set is amazing. I have 2C/3A curls, that I only wash about once a week or less. Most of my products for (hold, heat/UV protectant, moisture) do not contain any proteins. I used the set for over a month (a total of 4-5 washes), and did not experience any excess breakage. My curls were super shiny, and held curls for 3+ days. Specifically speaking for the shampoo, it good job of removing oils and buildup, and left my scalp feeling super clean. Also, I can’t figure out what exactly the smell is, but I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used the entire Redken Extreme line and the standout star is the Shampoo!! My hair had been silk pressed and I had SO much breakage! I started with this protein Shampoo and the SLIP!! Wow. Somehow I felt my my hair starting to come back to life. I actually appreciated that there wasn't a ton of lather and my hair still felt so clean! This product wasn't scent heavy but had a nice light smell! I really enjoyed the entire line but the shampoo is so good!!!

I have natural 4C Raw Indian hair & it took to the product perfectly. My hair was not damaged at all from using the product. As well lathered very well & the scent was phenomenal! My curl pattern was defined intensely. Minimal shrinkage, little to none shedding which is a key factor for me. I definitely recommend this for African American women with natural hair. I’m a very hard person to please when it comes to new hair products & I give it 5STARS! -This product was received complementary from Influenster. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using reaping the rewards of this Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner over the past two weeks. My hair has become drier over the winter and noticed it's breaking easily. I've struggled to ensure it stays hydrated, strengthen and healthy looking. The shampoo is light and applies easily, the texture almost feels like a conditioner and rinses easily. You can tell it's already getting to work, making my hair soft and hydrated. After rinsing the shampoo, I applied a bit over a quarter sized amount of the Redken Extreme conditioner. I leave it in about ten minutes to ensure it has the time to help my hair then rinse. I can already tell a difference while rinsing, my fingers are able to be run through my hair free from tangles. The scent for both of these is light and clean, definitely not overwhelming. My hair really has received the benefits from using this Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner and I will continue to use them moving forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this Redken Extreme Hair Strengthening Shampoo is simply fantastic! I immediately noticed how differently this product impacts the quality of my hair after only one day of use. I have incredibly coarse and thick hair, so when I get out of the shower, it tends to get super knotty and tangled pretty quickly, but this shampoo helped me comb through all the horrible knots without giant strands of hair pulling out and clogging up the bristles of my brush. Aside from its effectiveness, this shampoo has other nice aspects, such as its aroma. It's quite relaxing and lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family who struggle with the same issues as I do!

The real results come after your hair is dried, It left my hair incredibly manageable, soft and smooth! It looked like I had flat ironed my hair it was so silky. My hair felt and looked healthier. I think this is great for anyone who has damage, color traits, or just wants great looking hair fresh out of the shower! I also love the bigger bottles. They aren’t so big that they are inconvenient but a little larger so you have more product.

I did double check with my Fiance after my shower and he said my hair just smelled clean, so it stays in the shower. My hair looks Gorge!

I have dry and frizzy hair and other shampoos have always made my hair drier and were not able to tame the frizz. The Redken shampoo is in a very convenient 300 ml size flip-top squeeze and use bottle, so I can use exactly as much as I need. The bottle itself is high quality. The shampoo has a very pleasant mild lingering fragrance and leaves the hair smelling fresh. The texture is rich and lathers up very well even with a small amount. To my surprise, even a small amount left my hair feeling softer and very less frizzy. It gave my hair a shiny and fuller look. My hair felt softer and way less tangled. These amazing results are very noticeable. I am really happy and impressed with the shampoo and would highly recommend it those with dry and frizzy hair like mine. Your hair will definitely thank you! I am going to continue using the Extreme Shampoo so that my hair gets the best treatment. So, don't think twice and definitely go for the Extreme Shampoo if your hair needs some TLC and pampering! I will highly recommend this to my friends and family. My daughters are also loving this shampoo.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the shampoo and could feel the difference. I have hard water in my house and I’ve heard that PH shampoos can help with the chemicals that latch onto your hair when washing it with hard water. I could feel the difference after just one use. My hair felt cleaner and was a little softer. The smell is pleasant and wasn’t over powering. I’m so glad I got this complimentary from Influenster and will most likely purchase this when I run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes on the first was I noticed the difference! My hair was box colored dark brown, recently went into the salon and got highlights. We all know the damage it can do. Well I tried Redken Extreme Shampoo & Conditioner for Damaged Hair and man oh man what a difference it made! My hair was easy to comb through and once it completely dried up and I styled it, it had shine and volume. You do have to make sure that you rinse your hair properly orbit will leave it feeling limp! Oh and I either straighten or curl my hair Monday though Friday. Wash it 2-3 days during the week and daily on the weekends. The scent is amazing !! Give it a try!!!

I used redken extreme strength repair shampoo and conditioner just 3 weeks now 2 times a week When I shampoo and conditioner I felt my head kind like very weird and head heavier than another shampoo and conditioner is that normal or not It's very hard to comb and blow dry Feeling stiff dry and hard is that normal or not Can I mix extreme conditioner with another conditioner or some oil Can I color or highlight my hair when I used redken extreme strength repair What can I do for easy to blow dry hair. I also introduced this product to my friends before I used it and they had the same problem. What can I do now please help Please letting me know

I was tired, took a shower (using shampoo and conditioner) didn't think anything about it... but when I woke up I couldn't believe how soft and flowy. As in it looked great! Totally shocked, I have used product for about a week and a half. And I must say my hair is so carefree. No frizzy halo. No crunchy noise when brushing. Just beautiful soft flowing hair. The quality is evident. I felt pampered with the rich foam. Smell isn't overwhelming at all. I can up my hair up wet and go then pull it down mid day and still look fabulous! I'm switching shampoos, it's simply a must buy!!

My natural wave pattern has returned, my hair seems stronger, and there is less breakage in my comb. I'm letting my hair grow so this is really a terrific product/combination of products for me - especially considering I swim in our chlorinated pool several times a week and I live in the desert - so my hair takes a regular beating. My hair is already shinier and smoother. I'm sold!

I used this product for a few weeks following up with the conditioner that I also received from BzzAgent, and here are my thoughts...I like the creamy/gel like consistency of this shampoo and it lathered up nicely. It has a high end scent to it that is in no way overbearing which I appreciate. I feel it cleansed my wavy hair nicely and was overall a pleasure to use. I would definitely recommend this shampoo for people with damaged or dry hair.

And because of the highlights my hair tends to feel really dry at the ends. The shampoo is a little thinner than I like in a shampoo. I had to use more of the Redken Shampoo product to get a good lather in my hair. My hair felt clean and didn’t feel dried out after, it also left my hair feeling soft and hydrated. The bottle sizes are perfect for my little shower shelf! The smell is a hint of sweet perfume and a fresh scent. The smell is not overbearing and can I could still smell it after blow drying my hair. My hair was left feeling soft and and smooth! After styling my hair I didn’t notice any breakages and I had so much volume to play with.

My sister is a cosmetologist, and recommended this to me! I have course / Processed / Bleached hair. It is great to add back those extra protein's for hair that is over processed, and I saw an overall decrease in the amount of split ends and my hair was stronger / less frizzy when used with the conditioner. My only complaint is my hair looked slightly "dull" when using this, and my sister recommended using an oil with it because since it is so nourishing, it sometimes adds too much protein. When combined with the oil, my hair has never looked better! Would definitely recommend if you're using with other Redken Products.

I have damaged hair from coloring it and have tried soooo many expensive repair shampoos that I find leave my hair feeling dry and tangled once I rinse it out. This shampoo is creamy with a light scent and lathers your hair like a dream and doesn't leave your hair feeling dehydrated once rinsed out. It lathers very well and makes my hair feels softer. I shower at night, and by the end of the next day my hair feels and smells as fresh as it did when I first get out of the shower. I have been going through post partum hair loss the past 6 months and I feel like this product will really help strengthen my hair back. I bought this shampoo and conditioner to help recover it after going blonde. I had been using drug store shampoo before, and this is what my hair stylist recommended. My hair feels better than it did before coloring it, less of it comes out in the shower (not even half of what happened before) and I’m absolutely amazed by it. The smell wasn’t my favorite at first, in the bottle it smells…almost like the original monster energy drink. But it doesn’t smell like that at all while using, just a very clean, classic “salon” smell. It’s worked wonders for my hair and I am absolutely in love with it!! Can’t recommend enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have hair I’ve been growing for a long time (thanks, pandemic!) and have some damaged ends as a result. This left my hair feeling clean and soft, while also making it stronger and repairing some of the damage I had. The only thing I’d say is that if your hair is extremely fine and/or oily, I might still have a clarifying shampoo in your regimen once a week or so. I will keep using this, but I do feel a bit cleaner if I do keep a clarifying shampoo as an occasional part of my routine.

I was right. The products are great for breakage as they state. But, it definitely weighs down my natural curls. I would highly recommend if you straighten your hair. The packaging is appealing, the smell is nice, rinses well. I found myself spraying the leave-in conditioner on my hand and then applying rather than spraying directly on to my hair.

It is pricey but there is nothing that works as good.They always have such great products. The shampoo works very well. I’m so happy I got to try this cause I might keep it forever. This has helped my hair feel so soft, barely any frizz and so healthy! And it’s only been less than two weeks! And I love the packaging, is the perfect size and the nozzle helps with pouring. You really have to try this if your hair needs some love.
