EXTREME CONDITIONER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend the REDKEN 5TH Avenue NYC extreme conditioner for women with natural hair. I have natural 4C Raw Indian hair & it took to the product perfectly. My hair was not damaged at all from using the product. As well lathered very well & the scent was phenomenal! My curl pattern was defined intensely. Minimal shrinkage, little to none shedding which is a key factor for me. I definitely recommend this for African American women with natural hair. I’m a very hard person to please when it comes to new hair products & I give it 5STARS! -This product was received complementary from Influenster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited, and a little nervous to try out the Redken Protein Shampoo & Conditioner Set. Excited because the right amount of protein can transform lifeless hair, and too much protein turns it brittle. Keeping that in mind with the frequency that you wash, and also with the products you use, I think this set is amazing. I have 2C/3A curls, that I only wash about once a week or less. Most of my products for (hold, heat/UV protectant, moisture) do not contain any proteins. I used the set for over a month (a total of 4-5 washes), and did not experience any breakage. My curls were super shiny, and held curls for 3+ days. Specifically speaking for the conditioner, it has really good slip for detangling, and scrunches into hair really well. My hair feels ridiculously soft after I rinse it out, and all my products distribute easily when putting them on my soaking hair. Also, I can’t figure out what exactly the smell is, but I love it.

I have oily hair and colored hair and it did not harm my hair. I actually had just got my hair done right before I used it. My hair also isn’t coming out as it usually does! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using reaping the rewards of this Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner over the past two weeks. My hair has become drier over the winter and noticed it's breaking easily. I've struggled to ensure it stays hydrated, strengthen and healthy looking. The shampoo is light and applies easily, the texture almost feels like a conditioner and rinses easily. You can tell it's already getting to work, making my hair soft and hydrated. After rinsing the shampoo, I applied a bit over a quarter sized amount of the Redken Extreme conditioner. I leave it in about ten minutes to ensure it has the time to help my hair then rinse. I can already tell a difference while rinsing, my fingers are able to be run through my hair free from tangles. The scent for both of these is light and clean, definitely not overwhelming. My hair really has received the benefits from using this Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner and I will continue to use them moving forward.

I did double check with my Fiance after my shower and he said my hair just smelled clean, so it stays in the shower. My hair looks Gorge!

This Conditioner is magic! I have super dry, frizzy and color treated hair. I have tried many conditioners over the years to help nourish and soften my hair. The results have been temporary. My hair would either feel heavy or greasy after conditioning. The Extreme Conditioner has helped to soften, nourish and detangle my hair. The bottle has a convenient flip-top and I can list squeeze out as much my hair needs. I let my hair air dry and the results were actually magical. It felt soft, shiny and very nourished. The texture is rich and creamy but is lightweight and doesn't make your hair look greasy. I loved the smell as well…it has a very pleasant lingering fresh fragrance. So, if you have color treated and dry hair…your hair will be grateful! I will continue to buy this product to give my hair the pampering it needs. My hair has never felt this good before. Both my daughters are also enjoying the TLC their hair is receiving! I would highly recommend the magical Extreme Conditioner as I color my hair regularly which dries it out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For this product, a little goes a long way and that's a big deal coming from someone with curly hair. I go through conditioner like it's water. I need a lot of conditioner in my hair to feel like I'm properly hydrating my curls, but after just a squeeze of this conditioner, I was able to achieve good slip. I massaged it into my ends and worked it up my scalp and felt my hair almost instantly get softer. I left it in for 5 minutes to really allow it to penetrate and then was able to easily detangle without losing too much hair. I will definitely continue using this product to see if it really does strengthen my hair, but Redken is a trusted brand and is always highly recommended by stylists, so I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy using this product.

I like how it lathers and actually leaves my hair feeling very clean. The real results come after your hair is dried, It left my hair incredibly manageable, soft and smooth! It looked like I had flat ironed my hair it was so silky. My hair felt and looked healthier. I think this is great for anyone who has damage, color traits, or just wants great looking hair fresh out of the shower! The larger bottles are also a plus!

( fyi- the Redken Shampoo Extreme smells the same and conditions WONDERFULLY atleast on my curly hair ) First I'll list the GOOD EFFECTS of this conditioner to the LOOK OF MY CURLS after using it! My hair SMELLED WONDERFUL, it was SUPER SOFT and SUPER FULL! My CONS- MY CURLS were SUPER FRIZZY and had to be TAMED with a HAIR SERUM when I used it. Eventually I realized my hair did SO MUCH BETTER with the SHAMPOO ALONE and its WONDERFUL CONDITIONING EFFECT!

I have thick long length highlighted hair and because of the highlights my hair tends to feel really dry at the ends. The conditioner is thick and doesn’t require much to get the soft like silk hair. My hair felt clean and didn’t feel dried out after. The conditioner is thicker so I didn’t need as much. And it left my hair feeling soft and hydrated. The bottle sizes are perfect for my little shower shelf! The smell is a hint of sweet perfume and a fresh scent. The smell is not overbearing and I could still smell it after blow drying my hair. My hair was left feeling soft and and smooth! After styling my hair I didn’t notice any breakages and I had so much volume to play with.

It lathers very well and makes my hair feels softer. I shower at night, and by the end of the next day my hair feels and smells as fresh as it did when I first get out of the shower. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just like the shampoo, I have fallen in LOVE with this conditioner. Smells great. Really feels like it softens and protects my hair and doesn’t leave any slimy residue behind. I can comb through my hair without using additional products/detanglers. Since the bottles are identical in shape/color, I will say I accidentally reached for this (and put it on a few times) because the label has the word “shampoo” on it. Silly me for not paying better attention but I think they could redo the label.

Life changing. My hair is so damaged and this is absolutely saving it. I was hesitant because of the price, but my hair was a mess after I made an impulse decision to bleach it (badly, and at home) and I had all but given up hope when I went to get it chopped off, essentially against my will and nearly in tears. The stylist told me not to cut it all off just yet because she had a feeling it was not entirely beyond repair. She said that this line would help me. She was RIGHT. It’s so worth it. Plus, it smells so nice without being overly intoxicating or nauseating - I’d describe it as a sort of blueberry muffin scent.

I was right. The products are great for breakage as they state. But, it definitely weighs down my natural curls. I would highly recommend if you straighten your hair. The packaging is appealing, the smell is nice, rinses well. I found myself spraying the leave-in conditioner on my hand and then applying rather than spraying directly on to my hair.

It is pricey but there is nothing that works as good.They always have such great products. The shampoo works very well. I thought the shampoo had done a great job of making my hair silky and once I added the conditioner after my hair was even softer ! It smells really good ,the scents lasts but not overpowering. I like conscience of the bottle not too bulky and can fit in smaller caddies. I love how this didn't cause me to have too much hair fallout as other conditioners. Plus being ph friendly is a definite plus to protect and fortify my hair.

This conditioner is creamy textured and you don't need much to cover your hair, it leaves my hair very soft (I have medium wavy hair, waist length), it smells delightful and softens my hair so well untangling it is a piece of cake. I have seen improvement on the condition of my hair after a month usage, I love this product.

The first thing I noticed was that it was thinner than conditioners I’ve used in the past. My hair has been so soft after use and easier to style. It also doesn’t become crazy frizzy like it normally does, it has been keeping its overall style all day which has been wonderful! I’m going to continue using this product and see if I still get the same results!

I was scared to try this at first but thought what more could it hurt. wow! it smells incredible, it's doesn't tangle my hair and feels so soft right away . There wasn’t anything to complain about with this product. A little goes a long way. I also liked that this product made my hair last longer without washing everyday it would not get as oily as it usually would. I would definitely recommend to others and would consider purchasing the larger bottles once I finish! Great product overall!

I got my hair done in the summer got it cut & colored ever since I been having issues with tangled & breaking so I went & talked to professionals & asked them what would work for my hair type they told me this it's pretty expensive but honestly it was worth the purchase because it brought my dead damaged hair back to life I still struggle with tangled hair but not as bad & it helps with extreme breakage ! After using the PH balanced shampoo I had high hopes for the conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it and could feel the difference. I have hard water in my house and I’ve heard that PH shampoos and conditioners can help with the chemicals that latch onto your hair when washing it with hard water. I could feel the difference after just one use. My hair felt cleaner and softer. The conditioner made my hair feel conditioned and using it in tandem with the shampoo made a huge difference then when I use my regular shampoo and conditioner combo. I even let my mother try it and she too felt the difference. I think it’s safe to say we will both be purchasing this in the future.The smell is pleasant and wasn’t over powering. I’m so glad I got this complimentary from Influenster.

After using the shampoo (which was also amazing) I conditioned with the Redken Extreme line! My hair felt so soft after using this protein based conditioner and I have a good feeling with long term use the breakage I was experiencing will subside! I highly recommend this!

The only thing I’d say is that if your hair is very fine or oily, you may still need to use a clarifying shampoo once a week. I definitely didn’t feel serious buildup or anything, just felt like my baby-fine hair needed a bit more to keep it from being weighed down.
