[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the packaging is absolutely geared towards men. The beer bottle look is very unique. The shampoo itself has a great manly scent. No flowery aroma here. It's thick and lathers nicely. It seems to thicken my hair a bit. My hair is longer but kinda thin. It was silky and clean with just enough shine. I use another brand of shampoo and I will be switching because this works much better for me. My hair hasn't felt this good in years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying the shampoo. Like the bottle design. The top is easy to open/use in the shower - much better than the screw off or pop open tops. Just pop it up to dispense the shampoo. I did think the viscosity was too thin. For a thickening product, I expected it to have more viscosity, like most other similar products. The shampoo was surprisingly dense though. I was surprised at how heavy the bottle was. The aroma was very pleasant too. After my shower, I noticed my hair had a natural, thick look to it. As an older person with thinning hair, the thickening shampoo seems to have done a great job. I think it's definitely worth buying and using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of a sample review program. I was not aware of this shampoo prior to participating in the program. I used the product everyday for a couple weeks. While I did not notice my hair thickening, I still enjoyed using the product. The shape and color of the bottle is cool and the smell is awesome. The shampoo dispenses out of the bottle very easily and also does a nice job cleaning. It would have been nice to receive a conditioner with the sample product to get the full experience. I may consider purchasing the conditioner to try it out. Overall, good shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had absolutely no problem using the shampoo. Lathers up great. Actually I got more than one comment from friends about the aroma. Everyone says it smells great. Thickened up my hair within a week. Highly recommend you try it. My sister also tried it and says she's going to buy it now.

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
