Redken Brews Thickening Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Redken Brews Shampoo for approximately 30 days. I wanted to be absolutely sure I was going to be completely satisfied with this product before I provided my review. I can honestly say that this Shampoo really works. I am 63 years old with a full head of hair although thinning somewhat. I really liked the gingery fresh scent, very stimulating to my scalp, the consistency is perfect and produces great lather and foam. I really appreciate the clean feeling after rinsing along with the lasting fresh scent. I wish I had found this product sooner but happy it finally came my way! I told one of my best friends about it after he noticed the difference in my hair and he stated that he was going to try to find it online to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Redken shampoo does a nice job with thickening the hair I do have. Since I hit my 40's, my hair has been inching backwards. It remains to be seen if this shampoo actually regrows hair, and I'm not sure how long that process takes to show any results, but I was certainly happy with how my hair felt after a week of using it. I wash my hair every morning. The hair also feels clean and refreshed after use. I would recommend Redken Brews Thickening Shampoo to anyone looking to make their head look fuller and voluminous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this shampoo is said to thicken your hair , I do not have thinning hair but I like trying new products anyway but what I found in this product was that it felt like my hair was thicker but only because it is extremely and I mean very extremely foamy,bubbly and or sudsy....it took me 3xs linger to finish my rinse, I even tried using smaller and smaller amounts to the point where it was smaller than a dime in my hand. Other than that, it smells great, really fresh, has an appealing look.

I was doing my normal shopping and decided why not give it a try , honestly after just 1 week I can feel and see a diff , this product is great , def want to try some other products in this range and hopefully they work as well as this , the price is not that bad considering the small amount you use versus other brands you need to use half the product for one wash , def quality over quantity not to mention my wife loves the smell of it keep up the good work , I’m hooked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It smells like a fancy shampoo you'd get from a salon. It's thicker in consistency so it feels more luxurious when you lather it into your hair. Works up to a nice lather and foam. Leaves your hair nice and soft but does nothing for thickening after consistent usage. Looks really nice since the bottle looks like a beer bottle, which makes a man less hesitant to use it. But since it doesn't help with thickening, I wouldn't repurchase.

I was actually shocked to find out that I did find out that it did thicken my hair slightly or it felt that way to me.Really great product and would reccomend to anyone. Just use as you would use any normal shampoo and youll be surprised with the results. The major drawback for me was that it was double the price of most other shampoos.

I've just always used whatever shampoo and conditioner products that my mom would place in the shower, and this is how I became aware of the Redken brand. I've been using Redken haircare products for quite a few years and I never get tired of the amazing results that they provide for my hair! Brews Thickening Shampoo is one of Redken's newest products and I couldn't be happier with it. What I recall from the first time I used the shampoo is how awesome and fresh it smells but the best part of the Brews Thickening Shampoo is that it truly makes my hair not only feel thicker, but it also appears fuller!!! Although I wear my hair in a "man bun" most days, I have discovered that because my hair has less flyaways and is thicker, it actually takes me less time to achieve a clean and classy look.

I have fallen in love with the ginger mint scent. I have also noticed that my hair fall way less than before. I am very happy with this shampoo and would always keep using it. Five stars..

I think this is my new favorite shampoo. It is quite funny that the shape of the bottle resembles a beer bottle.When the bottle runs out, I will purchase other products from the same line.

The aroma is hard to describe, but a little medicinal in a good way. The aroma could be stronger. It is easy to use, and left my hair a bit more manageable than generic products.

I usually switch between 2 or 3 products during the course of a month, but have stuck with this one since I received it. Now I just need to figure out where I can but it regularly!

I have been trying to find a shampoo for years now to replace the excellent Redken Vivagen shampoo that was discontinued some time ago. I was hoping (after trying Redken's other products over the intervening years, like Densify, Full Impact, Cerafill etc) that the Redken Brews Thickening Shampoo might finally be my salvation. However - and yet again - I was very disappointed. The shampoo lathers OK, but has a distinctly chemical smell. It doesn't provide the volumizing/thickening effect that is promised, and my hair was significantly flatter at the end of the day. This product has the effect of making my hair feel dry and flat at the same time, which is certainly not what I am after! Despite the so-called advances that Redken is supposedly making in relation to thinning hair products, there is still no product like Vivagen. Bring back the formula you had when the product was discontinued, and I will happily buy Redken products again. In the meantime, I've given up on Redken products...you've lost me as a customer.

It usually takes three twist of my hair tye to hold my ponytail in place but not after the shampoo! It took only two twist! This stuff is amazing. My hair wasn't frizzy either. Ugh just read this has been discontinued. Don't understand why everything that people like and works gets discontinued. So frustrating! This happens all the time. Very disappointed redkin in you for eliminating this product from your arsenal.
