Big Blowout Heat Protecting Blowout Jelly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free full sized Redken Big Blowout Heat Protectant Jelly in exchange for my honest review. I have never tried a jelly heat protectant before so it was fun to try out. After racking the product through wet hair and used the blow drier, it dried down smoothly without making my hair feel hard or greasy. After styling my hair I noticed a there was zero frizz throughout the day and left my hair pretty soft and silky. The scent is a bonus. It is so lovely. I definitely recommend.

I didn't really care for the smell. I applied to towel dried hair as directed. I blow dried as usual. I also curled my hair on high temp. I waned to test the heat protection. Now my hair is straight. It's hard to get and keep curls. I really have to heat my hair as hot as possible. I was very happy that this Redken Big Blowout Heat Protection Jelly helped keep my hair shiny and healthy looking through all that heat.

The smell definitely lasted all day. I would also like to add that I am not a big fan of blow drying mousse or jelly from past experiences of different products making my hair feel very weighted down and crunchy but this product was the opposite! Even after blow drying, I was still able to run a brush through it to finish styling which says a lot about how the product is so lightweight. I would definitely recommend this to friends that diffuse their curly hair because it adds so much volume and definitely keeps the texture!

I used this product three times to style my hair before writing this review. It is a heat protecting jelly that is easy to apply before blowdrying. I combed it through damp towel dried hair and after blow drying, my hair was noticeably more shiny and there was less frizz. It left my hair feeling silky soft and there was also increased volume. The only downside is I don't personally like the smell, and I had to wash my hair a day sooner than usual because of the product. It is not as lightweight as I would have hoped for. I still would recommend this product because the results are so lovely.

This is a heat protectant that also gives the hair texture and volume. As a finer-haired woman, those are some things that I never thought I'd get with an at-home blowout! You only need about a dime-sized amount (my hair is a few inches past shoulder-length) so a little goes a long way and this tube will last me awhile! I also love using it in conjunction with the Redken heat protectant spray... *Chef's kiss*!! If you want a good blowout, get your hands on this!

It also provides heat protection and frizz protection as well as shine and volume. You only need a small amount get the perfect at home Blow Out. My hair has so much volume and texture when using this product and it lasts the whole day and doesn't weigh your hair down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how Redken's Big Blowout creates a boost of volume on my hair! I have long and thin Asian hair that always just falls flat. This has a jelly gel like consistently, with a subtle fragrance that I personally like. I use this mainly when I curl my hair, and it works great, and my curls stay great! I love the heat protection in it too. Would highly recommend this!
