SHAMPOOING HAIR CLEANSING CREAM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all of Redken products, but this one might be one of my new favorites! I use a lot of products in my hair, so sometimes I feel like it can be weighed down. This felt like a hard reset for my hair, it was weightless and so soft once I had used this. I lathered it up and scrubbed all over my scalp and brought the left over suds down to the ends of my hair and let sit for 5 min. I followed up with a deep conditioner. My hair was so easy to brush through once I was done and it felt so soft! Definitely going to add this shampoo to my must have list, especially for getting chlorine and hard water build up out of my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this product a fair review so I used it twice. After using it I can say that I do enjoy the product overall. My hair felt very soft after use but it also felt very frizzy and dry. The scent of the shampoo is citrus and isn't offensive in any way. I have issues with hard water where I live so I was looking for something that I can use to help remove that excess mineral buildup and this has definitely helped. I feel like this is a great shampoo to use and alternate with your regular shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use Kerastase and Oribe hair products mixed with a little IGK. This product blows them all away. I have naturally curly hair and I'm usually very cautious about any clarifying products as they constrict my curl, and I can end up having to use several hydration masks to make up for it. This is gentle enough to use every day and did not strip my curl or weigh it down. My scalp feels cleaner, and my hair looks overall healthier. I love this stuff!

I recently had a medical emergency that left me very weak and unfortunately my hair fell to the bottom of my priority list. I would shower my body but my hair maybe once or twice a month. So I bought this and oh my gosh, it makes my scalp and hair feel incredible! And not only that, but it helps me go longer between washes and my scalp doesn’t have that itching or painful feeling after going a week or so without washing it. I usually shampoo twice with this, letting it sit for a few minutes each time then follow up with the acidic bonding conditioner and leave in. I am so glad I gave this product a try!

I had spent a lot of time in the pool and had buildup because I have platinum hair and loaded my strands with conditioner several days in a row to help keep it from getting damaged from the chlorine from swimming 5 days in a row, I needed something to reset my baseline for healthy hair. I used this with the purple mask treatment and baby my hair looked like I had just left the salon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, this isn't my first rodeo with Cleansing shampoos and I appreciate Redkin allowing me to try this one for free in exchange for my honest review! I seem to have now collected three different levels of cleansing - one that kinda cleanses, one that gets out most of the gunk and this Cleansing Hair Cream Shampoo. The firs time I tried this, I left it on my hair for about two minutes and boy oh boy, squeaky clean. And it really removed all of the build up and may have gone a smidge further than I would have liked with my hair as it felt a touch dry. To be fair to the shampoo, I used it with no conditioner to see how it performed and squeaky clean! If my hair feels like it has too much oil or simply feels "dirty" this is the product I'm reaching for. Oh - and the lather! This stuff suds up AMAZING! Bubbles that simply won't quit. Great product, just ensure you use something to moisturize the ends of your hair after.

Even when I lather well and do it consistently, nothing. This product does work, you do not need much, just follow the instructions. I'm so happy with this cleansing cream. I do recommend a moisturizing product after your shower.

My hair started to fall out and break a bit more. My son who is 16 and has very oily hair tried this as well. It worked great for him and he said if you have very oily hair this might be great for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product on hair that had no been washed for 5 days. The product smelled great and good consistency. I didn't realize any different in my hair. I did notice my curls seemed to come out more after air drying. Would love to try this with the matching conditioner and see if it makes a difference .

For anyone that uses multiple hair products ie: hair spray, leave-in conditioner, gel, dry shampoo, etc, this is perfect. You only need like a dime size amount and it can completely suds up your hair. I have long hair and it worked great. It felt like my hair was really getting cleaned. It says to leave in a little longer if you feel like toy have excess build up but I didn't notice any difference (perhaps my build up was not too bad.) It def left my hair feeling light. I followed up with a Redkin conditioner I had and my hair looked healthy, leaving me happy. I would love to try the different products Redkin is offering. My only complaint is the bottle. Having it stand upside down makes it easy to get the product out BUT I also experienced excessive leakage. I had to ensure there was no cream on the inside or edges and that it was the most closed it could be. I think the seal could use a little work. I ended up just keeping it sideways to prevent any issues.

After your hair gets dry, it feels luscious and luxurious. I recommend it, especially if your hair needs a moisturizing boost. It works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffered from dandruff and really struggled to find a product that would clean it out and maintain it! This is that product for me! I am not pulling my hair up anymore and really feel the difference!

It lasts forever, I got the 8.5oz bottle may 2024, you only need a nickle amount to shampoo the scalp. It makes my hair really soft somehow and my scalp issues (dandruff/eczema/psoriasis- i know yay me lol) have basically ran for the hills. I used it probably 3x a week the first month, now I only need to use it 1 to 2x a week (depends on if I use any styling product). And my hair and scalp is oil and build up free. I switched to this shampoo, ditched conditioner completely and use a light weight oil on my ends and my hair has never been better. Just a huge game changer.

Before the formula change, this was my holy grail shampoo. I react to almost every shampoo out there except this one. Now, the formula is thicker and creamier, and it leaves a residue on my hair even after double washing, that weighs it down and does not feel clean or look voluminous like it used to. The residue also makes it feel rougher, not soft and light like before. I’m really upset. Why did you do this Redken, why? I spent years looking for a shampoo I didn’t react to and also gave me good results. Now there’s nothing. I’m never purchasing your products again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been on the hunt for a new clarifying shampoo for quite some time now. All of the ones I've tried were too drying and left a waxy film on my scalp and hair. This clarifying shampoo is the real deal!!! You don't need to use a lot of the product for it to get the job done. I leave it on for about a minute or 2 before rinsing. If you have a sensitive scalp, I wouldn't leave it on for very long as it does tingle a bit and could cause irritation. It really makes a difference in how my hair feels and does a great job at removing product build up and oils.

I had some stubborn purple semi-permanent color that needed to get bleached out before the next color service. My usual shampoo wouldn't wash any more of it out. I used the cleansing cream in place of my normal shampoo and my suds were BRIGHT purple. I ended up able to skip the bleach. Only 4 stars because I expected it to be way more moisturizing, considering the name and how it comes in a bottle like their conditioners. I did a deep conditioner afterward (All Soft deep conditioner) and my hair was extremely soft and felt very clean. Maybe a once every couple of weeks treatment to get product buildup out, but definitely not a daily-use product, especially if you have color-treated hair.

I live in the country and have very hard, well water. I've tried just about everything to get my hair "clean". The Hair Cleansing Cream is by far the best clarifying product I've ever used. I recommend this product to anyone with hard well water. The convenience of the "wash and go", is so much better than going to a salon for a hard water treatment. A little bit goes a long way! I usually wash my hair twice, when I use this product I will wash once with my daily shampoo, then with HCC; not that you have too, Ijust do it because it makes it last longer. LOL I will also let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing and follow with a good conditioning mask. I love how my hair feels and looks so healthy afterwards. Definitely worth the money!

I have super naturally greasy hair, so I use this shampoo every time I wash my hair which is maybe 2 to 3 times a week. The longer I use this shampoo, the longer my hair will last with dry shampoo. I’m never afraid to add too much dry shampoo because I know this cleansing cream will get it all out when it’s time. It lathers super, super well so it’s easier to get a super deep cleanse. I follow up with the Redken All Soft conditioner, and my hair feels amazing for the next few days. I definitely recommend!!!

This product was used on me the last time I went in for a blowout and it changed everything for me. My hair was GORGEOUS. It was shiny, bouncy, and looked so incredibly healthy! I wash my hair about twice a week and I use this each time (purchased in October and still have half of it left), and I get the exact same results at home. My hair is red and naturally curly, and I haven’t been happier with it in my life!

Nice smell, leaves my hair soft and does seem to clean well. The reason for the average review is because I did not think, especially for the price tag, that this shampoo provided anything better than more budget-friendly alternatives. My hair was no more manageable; I did not notice any special "cleansing" properties. Overall, I am happy to use it but would not keep it as part of my rotation.

I've used Redken products before and I think this was the only line that I hadn't used yet. Anyway, I've always had some build up, itchy scalp, and oily hair after day two, and I feel like I've I tried almost everything and anything and nothing worked! The shampoo transformed my hair just after one wash, and my hair went from being extra oily to smooth, shiny, and grease free for DAYS. It does recommend you leave the shampoo on your scalp for a few min for build up, and I would definitely recommend doing so because it felt so refreshing and revitalizing on my scalp. Almost like it could breathe again. Long story short, 10 out of 10 would recommend! I also have medium dark brown length hair, wavy, with highlights!

With this, I don't feel that I necessarily need to do the "repeat" and my hair feels soft after just shampooing (I still condition though). My scalp feels fresh without feeling aggressively over washed. I use about a dime to quarter sized amount of product and that seems to really get the job done! This has become my once every two week shampoo (I wash once a week) to clean any build up from product I might have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product made my hair feel 100x better than my cleanser I normally purchase. However, it did strip my color pretty bad. (I use Artic Fox semi-permanent color). I will have to reapply some color after 3 uses, where I don't normally have to really that often. I would totally continue to use this if it didn't take my color out. I didn't have to use a hair mask after my showers (which would cut back on costs), as it did thr job all by itself!

I use a lot of dry shampoo and treatments for my dry scalp, so I like to use a clarifying shampoo every couple of weeks to get rid of any build up. It smells really fresh and leaves your hair feeling clean without being stripped. I also love that a little bit goes a long way with this shampoo, so it will last me awhile.

I used these product about a week apart and did not care for the results. It didn't feel cleansed. My hair felt like straw. I assume it's because it took too much. I was hoping for a different end result. I won't use it again.
