THE CONSISTANCY IS GOOD I WAS ABLE TO USE LITTLE PRODUCT FOR MY LONG HAIR BUT I COULD NOT GET OVER THE SMELL. Maybe it is because I have sensitive smell to things but I would not go to the store and purchase

I was super skeptical because I have thin, lifeless hair and nothing that is supposed to help with volume really works for me... But this DID!!! and wow! was my hair floofy. I love it. And it smells amazing too. A floral scent close to roses but not quite and the smell lasted for days. I honestly have nothing bad to say except that I wish the bottles were bigger. Consider this a rave review. I am sold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a nice conditioner. Many volume conditioners volumize at the expense of conditioning since they're lighter. This felt like a normal conditioner and seems to function as such. Two things: first, the smell. It is very floral and fragrant which can be a bit much. Second, the line as a whole doesn't seem to leave my hair super shiny, which isn't uncommon for volumizing products but something to be aware of. I switch between a few products to balance everything out.

I love how this conditioner smells, and a little really goes a long way. I have long hair and only need to use about a quarter sized amount. After rinsing the conditioner out my hair is extremely soft. After a week of using this product my hair feels fuller and has more body to it! As someone with fine hair I am loving the volume this product has given me!

When I think of volumizing products, I think of that slightly sticky texture to give your hair more hold. However, this conditioner and shampoo combo made my hair feel clean and lightly volumized without that sticky residue. I don't know how much volume the conditioner gives, but I enjoyed using the two products together.

This shampoo is nice. I've used it 2 times so far and it has given my hair more volume. It has a good smell and does what it's intended to do. I do also use the conditioner and thickening spray that goes with it.

The smell has a very chemically aroma, that isn't pleasant. In terms of a shampoo and conditioner, it's great. As far as volume, I noticed no difference. I have thin, long hair, and saw no change after using this and the conditioner.

It's a light to medium conditioner so not the highest moisture product, but thats common for volume products

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
