Nature + Science Extreme Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this conditioner. I like how easy it dispenses from the bottle, and it is very thick and creamy, so a little goes a long way. The conditioner was easy to dispense through my hair, and it has a great scent. I would describe the scent as being a citrus scent with lime and herbs. The product was very easy to rinse out of my hair. I have course, dry hair, and this conditioner made my hair feel so soft. My hair was almost tangle free, and it was easy to comb out what few tangles I did have. The conditioner really helped to maintain the slight frizz problem I have, and it helped to define my natural waves. My hair felt very soft after using it, and it made my hair shine.

Have tried a lot of other conditioners but I am so happy that I finally found this conditioner which worked perfectly for my distressed & damaged hair. Love the fact that its free of Sulfate, Silicone and Paraben. It has a thick texture and is perfect to mask my hair. It left my hair so soft, shiny and smooth than before. I could really see a difference. It would have been much easier if the bottle is soft enough to squeeze the conditioner out of it as the bottle was hard and had to put some efforts. But overall, I am very happy with the conditioner and would recommend it to others to buy.

Wow instantly your hairs feels more silky , fresher , clean and looks Manificent. So easy to manage too ,on was surprised cause y hair is curly and it was easy to comb out my hair than usual . Great product it's vegan, my first experience with vegan conditioner I really liked it feels lighter., Sulfate free, and no Parabens. Perfect . Fortifying Conditioner is great for stressed hair , damaged hair too. These high performance ingredients , naturally sourced is amazing in your hair. Infushed with high levels of protein b, like lupine to strengthen hair . Works very well moisturizes and conditioning to prevent split ends . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Redken's Nature and Science Extreme Conditioner is amazing! I love how it has transformed my hair in the last few weeks I have been using it. I don't have extremely damaged hair but my hair is naturally dry and it breaks easily. I have noticed since I have been using this conditioner my hair has felt a lot softer and been a lot more manageable. The one thing that I didn't like is how the conditioner comes out. It took me a good couple of minutes to figure it out. Someone who is a regular Redken user might not have such an issue but someone that is new to the brand might have the same issue I did. Not something that you want to encounter when you are in the middle of washing your hair.

I was pleased with the scent, very light lemon scent. Once I dried my hair it was soft. Frizz free not oily or heavy. I would buy product. And recommend to others who are looking for a natural vegan hair moisturizer.

I liked that this conditioner made my hair feel so soft after I used it and my hair dried. I also liked that I had no oily feeling in my hair after use and it had a long lasting scent after use. I also used this conditioner on my daughters hair who always has dandruff no matter how many times you wash it and it seemed to help with the dandruff quite a bit. I love that its made with natural products so I don't feel I'm adding anything to my hair that can harm me or my daughter.

I've used this once and seen a major difference in my hair. It feel amazing. Soft and less frizzy in a sense. The following day it still looked and felt great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very high hopes for this product as I trust the Redken name and have a generally positive opinion of their products, schools, and stylists. Unfortunately, I am displeased with this product overall. First, the product is very thick. This makes it very hard to dispense from the bottle. They would benefit from placing the product in a tube versus a bottle. At one point, I actually squeezed it onto my chest in order to move it to my hair because it was impossible to get out of the bottle with one hand. Next, this conditioner does not seem to penetrate into the hair well. Finally, the conditioner also has very little slip in wet hair and takes time to get even coverage. I left it in my hair for an extended time with each use, and it did not do wonders for it. I was left with tangled hair to was difficult to brush. On a positive note, I love that the product is largely naturally-derived, and the citrus smell is wonderful. I absolutely loved the smell! I really hate that this product missed the mark. I wanted so badly to love it!

There are some things that I like about it, and some I do not. First, the ingredients are great. I love that it is made with 99% natural ingredients. I also enjoy the texture of this conditioner. It is thick, but smooth and not too creamy. It works like a normal conditioner, but it's great knowing that I am using natural ingredients. I have very frizzy hair, so it is disappointing that this conditioner did not help to control that. I am also not a big fan of the scent. It almost smells like mosquito repellant to me. I'm not sure if it is the shape or design of the bottle, but it is slightly difficult to squeeze this conditioner out. It could also be the thickness of it. I think that is something Redken should work on. Because it is made with 99% natural ingredients, I would recommend it to a friend. Overall, I am glad that I got to experience this conditioner first hand. I would consider purchasing more if there were different scents, and some that helped with frizz control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently rebleach my hair like i do every summer & for anyone with bleached hair, you know it can dry out your hair if you dont have the best conditioner. My hair was starting to frizz and dry out. So when i received this conditioner i was so excited. I love all Redken products so i knew this had to be good. It did exactly as i expected it has added moisture to my hair, its not falling out from being so weak and brittle anymore! Its frizz free (surprisingly being our weather is dry and already in the 100's) i really love this stuff !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start the conditioner smells amazing. It is a thicker conditioner so you need a lot less then most. I have already noticed my hair is less frizzy, shines more, and feels super healthy. I have to wash my hair daily as I am an athlete and military. The constant washing is very rough on my hair along with having to dye it to military standards. I was using whole blends prior to this but I was having to follow up using an anti frizz oil. Since switching I don't have to coat my hair in oil every night. Amazing product I would recommend!!

The Redken conditioner is an organic conditioner and I felt it worked just as well as the regular conditioners. I really liked that it is organic and better for you and environment. I was very impressed as I was not sure how a organic conditioner would do. it has a soft scent which is wonderful and made by a brand I trust. I have long colored hair and it worked wonderful for moisturizing. I would recommend this for anyone.

RedKen® Extreme Nature + Science Conditioner worked quite well but could be better, the product is a Rich, Thick, Creme with an odd, herbal / floral scent with a hint of citrus. It is VERY THICK and would be better in a tube or jar to make dispensing easier. The product is average at both moisturizing and strengthening but seems to do little about smoothness and 'slip' there ARE 'Silicone-Free' alternatives that can provide this.There is also very little protein added for proper filling of over-porous hair. I suspect RedKen has positioned this as an 'Also-Ran' for the product line to appease their customers who want a more 'Natural' alternative with no real intent to lure away their primary users who are hooked on their daily dose of silicone 'Smack' found in the rest of their products.

The scent is very pleasant and natural. I really like this conditioner but I do not like the bottle. It is hard to get the product out with wet hands. The bottle is too firm and it is very hard to squeeze the conditioner out because is the thick consistency. This is the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. If they fix the packaging I'd give it 5 starts for the product alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I received a bottle I used so far 4 times and I'm super excited about it ,I have oily scalp with dry bleached ends so my hair is oily but dry . I try to use none or minimal conditioner because it weighs my hair down and makes it feel oily and dirty ,not with this product. My hair is finally super clean ,looks very healthy and lasts me without having to wash again for at least 3 days . This is unheard for me ,so yes I would definitely recommend it and I will continue to use it .Thank you

It does, however, work exceptionally wellat taming frizz by leaving smooth hair. It is made of 99% naturally derived ingredients, so it is better for your hair's health. It does not feel greasy or weigh my hair down. It is designed to fortify distressed hair. My hair needs conditioner to keep it smooth and rejuvenated. This conditioner smells great and delivers results that you can see.

Its scent is a very earthy not my favorite but not to bad either. This conditioner helped make my dry damaged hair shiny and smooth and soft. It detangles my hair so I can brush it after washing it which is a huge plus for my hair. I recommend this condition for anyone that needs extreme conditioned hair because they have damaged, dry, or dull hair.

My only concern is that the product is way to thick. It is kinda of hard to squeeze out of the bottle and the thickness makes it hard to spread on the hair even when very wet. I think this would work just as good if it was not so thick. Overall I really like this product and would use over and over again.

I also love that this conditioner is 99% naturally derived ingredients! It smells amazing as well. :) The only thing I didn't really like was that I had a hard time squeezing the bottle, so I figured id just take the top off … the top doesn't come off. :/ All in all, this conditioner is amazing!

It is easy to wash off and does not leave any residue. I would that it leaves my hair normal, I can feel a slight change in my hair's texture. The only complaint is of the products container. The bottle is too hard to squeeze with one hand. I have to use two hands.

My only complaint is the packaging. This conditioner is very thick and too hard to squeeze from this bottle. I think it would be better in a tub container with a twist off lid. The New Extreme Conditioner is so much thicker than the original formula that I can hardly get it out of the bottle. The fragrance is not appealing to me; went out and found a bottle of the original; does a hair product have to be Vegan???? Hope the shampoo replacement will be better; guess I better stock up with the original formulas before they are no longer available

The formula is thick enough to mask your hair in for a few minutes. After rinsing I towel dry and comb through and notice less tangles and stronger thicker hair with more volume. My hair appeared shinier and I have received compliments even without a blowout.

There isn't alot of smell, which I prefer. The consisitancy is a little strange compared to other conditioners but it goes on the hair the same. My hair was soft and manageable. Overall satisfied.

Very thick hard to get out....smells horrible ugh worst product I've ever used from redken which is my main shampoo and conditioner as well as style and leave in products I use....I bought this because I luv the extreme line but this is a waste of 42.00 out the money as well as a huge bottle of conditioner smh....

Concrete conditioner. Like everyone said it is very thick and is hard to get out of the bottle. I am allergic to many scented hair products where it makes me sick for the whole day. This product’s scent does not bother me. It makes my hair smooth & shiny. I use another shampoo because my scalp is very oily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that Redken NATURE + SCIENCE EXTREME CONDITIONER uses 99% naturally derived ingredients, silicone-free, and is vegan. This did a decent job conditioning my hair, but I have used better products. What really put me off is the bottle. Even if this was amazing I would have a hard time choosing this over another product because of the bottle. It is impossible to squeeze with one hand. The bottle is hard and has little give to it. I had to prop my knee up and use both hands to squeeze some on my knee and then scoop it off. At least the product is thick enough so it doesn't run off when doing this. The cap does not help either because it has the appearance of a screw cap but it does not come off. It will be very difficult to get all of the product out of the bottle when it gets down low. Anyone with hand injuries, arthritis, or other hand issues will not be able to use this bottle at all. I cannot recommend this product. I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.
