[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for writing a review. I like how it gives my shorter hair a piece-y look. The cream itself is smooth and not super tacky like some other paste-type products. It works great on short hair, giving it that workable, moldable texture that's still soft. Compared to gels, mousse, and hairspray, it's a much better option, in my opinion, by not leaving my hair crunchy or stiff. I think as long as my hair is on the shorter side, this is something I'd buy for my hair styling products & and I would recommend it to family and friends who also have short or curly hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my free full size sample of redkin texture paste which is a rough, long lasting paste and I couldn't love it more!! It is just like it says, long lasting, has a great pull top lid so you don't get your fingernails all gooped up with product. It's not gummy or waxy in your hair and doesn't build-up after A-day, you can actually use some dry shampoo and be ok after using. It doesn't turn your hair white or make it look like there are cobwebs in it. It smells great and you only need a tiny bit it to go a long way so the bottle will last. I am definitely hooked and have made the change. I will recommend this to my friends and family and recommend that you do the same. Check it out, you won't be sorry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adding this Texture Paste to my hair regimen has been so beneficial. I love using this texture paste in place of my texture spray. I've never using a paste type product like this and had the chance to experience this product in exchange for my honest feedback. I like that when I use this it doesn't leave my hair sticky, feel clumpy, or even like I have just too much product in my hair. Before trying this product, I would mess with my hair constantly throughout the day. I don't even have to think twice after using this. My hair stays where I want it and my style stays intact. It also smells wonderful. I definitely recommend this!

It's a cross between a gel and paste because it's not thick like a regular paste is but definitely thicker than gel. Has awesome hold and keeps you hair looking cute all day! Has a nice salon smell not to overpowering would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a light product to help hair stay styled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like I said, it works but it's not a super strong hold. I like using it to keep a side sweep in place and it works great. I also use it on my toddlers "spikes" and it works but before long it has flattened. It does leave a bit of residue too. Nothing too crazy but you can tell you have product in your hair. Actually my least favorite thing about this product is the "tube" mine is in. I have a stand up tube that you pull back and it's hard to come out and then after you set it down, it comes out and you end up wasting a bit of it. Not a horrible product but will continue the search for a better one.

I tried it on my hair and my hubby's and he loved it! The only thing is it left a little bit of a weird feel to my hair, kinda greasy kinda wet-ish. That's probably just me tho. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary for review purposes from BzzAgent and Redken. TEXTURE PASTE from Redken feels so light yet so effective! The paste looks and feels a bit foamy, and it has a faint scent which really made me feel fresh. You can use it both on dry or wet hair. I usually applied it in my towel dried hair, and when my hair dried completely it had that amazing definition. I have a bit of a dry, frizzy, curly hair, and the texturizing hair paste from Redken was exactly the right product for me and my hair. It hold the hair form without making it stiff, and my hair had the same look all day long. I love that the paste gently decreases the frizziness all the while making the hair hold the style I originally intended. Only a small amount was enough for my shoulder length hair, and I think one tube will last for a long time for me. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has frizzy hair and is looking for a gentle yet effective product to have that mane in check.

This product is great for molding your hair and has great holding power. Just pump, rub a little into your hands, and mold your hair. Finish with a light spray, and you’re good all day. 10 hours between my 2 photos, yet they look the same! Impressed!!

Would not purchase for my hair

I'm still not really sure what it's supposed to do but it's similar to a gel. I tried to use it for an up do but didn't really like it for my hair. It's a paste, I would say it'll work for you if you have curly hair or on men hair as well for styling. Maybe works better and easier to use on wet hair. It's a medium hold but does make your hair hard and stay in place. I used it on dry hair but I will try it again with wet hair to see the difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try this product for an honest review. I was unsure if I wld like this product since it seemed so thick and my hair is long. But I used this product a couple of different ways. I have natural long wavy hair and when I don't want to blow out my hair I used this texture paste on wet hair and scrunch it. When it drys it leaves my hair with really nice waves not frizzy at all!!!! And when I feel like styling my hair after I curl or use a hot tool I like to use this paste but I do think this product is better for shorter hair. It has a thick feel to it. Also the pump is kinda weird. Or well perhaps that's just their way of saying little goes a long ways! Since the pump is very slow to put out product. lol

Performance: as a black male, it definitely gives my hair a lot of volume. Everyone has been asking if I'm growing an Afro. This practically gets me >12 hours
Fragrance: not too strong but present enough that it doesn't feel like applying straight chemicals. It is refreshing in a way.
Overall would recommend. It's on my work desk because I use it everyday. Would absolutely purchase again

Love the paste, but the packaging is terrible. If I have to read the directions for a simple hair product, there's a problem with the packaging. So--I push up from the bottom, release the cap thing on the top, and press. The paste comes out too fast if I pressed too hard. And about 3/4 of the way through the container (but who can know for sure), the cap broke off, so now when I press to get paste out, the tip of the paste is thick or hard because it is not protected by the cap. This is the best texturizing paste I have ever used on my fine, thin, short hair, but I won't buy it again because of the packaging. Why not put it in a tube like the texturing gel?

I tried this product for straightening my own hair, which is in general a little wavy and frizzy. It works well for that (and a little goes a long way). My son is trying out all kinds of new hairstyles to find what he likes best, so I gave this to him to try and he was really able to do some fun (and interesting lol) styles. It held all day, even on a sweaty pre-teen. Not too heavy or noticeable in the hair. We will continue to use it!

Not quiet sure what texturing or dimension are...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So i followed the directions to a T when using this product. Frankly, it talks about texturing and dimension a lot but for me I didn't see a benefit to using this product.
Initially, I could not get the product to dispense. I had to give it a push start at the bottom to get the flow working.
The bottle I received was a bright blue color with white lettering in the back.
I read over the bottle multiple times and sadly was left no clearer understanding as to what the product did from the first time I read it.
I actually Googled the word "texturing" in my attempt understand the purpose of this paste.
Moreover, the word font used for the description located in the back of the bottle is super duper small.
The actual paste is white and you dispense it in your hands then distribute it by combing through your hair.

I normally use Redkin Rewind, but wanted a little more holding power and something to tame my fly aways. This works great! It also enables me to piece my hair where I want it. Love it! And for those who mentioned not being able to get anymore out of the container, you have to push up from the bottom. Like the old push up ice creams!! I will definitely buy this again.

I decided to use the texture paste to see how it'd hold up. I ran it through my hair and put my hair back up in a bun. I was very happy with the results. I felt it had a huge learning curve to figure out how much to use, how to use it, and what to do with it once it was in my hair. Although I did like the result in the end, I felt like it was more work than my usual hair products and that the result wasn't so different that I would be willing to do that much work all the time. I do think it will be useful for special events, such as attending my son's upcoming wedding, where I want my hair to look really great and not get messed up easily. But for day-to-day hair, this isn't going to become my go-to.

This is always my go to product. I absolutely love it. I have a short pixie cut and it helps me define my look. I love the creamy texture and how my hair always turns out. This product was unavailable for an extended period back in 2022. The pliable paste is not a substitute. The texture paste needs to be a staple product for Redken. The size is also ideal for flying/travel. I have been a loyal customer for 10years. Please get this product back online asap. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wavy hair that is fine and frizzy so when I received this sample to try i thought it was going to be like other texture paste and make my hair feel like it has glue in it. I was shocked that this product did not feel like glue. I used a very small amount and rubbed it between my hands then applied to my hair from mid shaft to the ends. When i styled my hair it stayed and I did not have to use much hair spray. I have since added this product to my hair routine and will be buying again when this bottle is empty. I also liked the way it made my hair feel soft and made it shine.

I tried it on my hair dry and it styled it good. The end feel is clean, not too heavy and definitely not too greasy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this product made my curls pop! It went on very smooth and coated my curls nicely. I believe that this has a nice smell and it was very gentle on my hair. Don't use too much, you don't want your hair to get sticky or crunchy!

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
