[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this hair oil from Redken, a brand I truly admire and love because it always delivers high-quality products. Every time I use it, it never disappoints.
This oil is no exception, although I have to say it hasn’t been my favorite product from the brand, since it can make my hair feel a little greasy (nothing too heavy, just slightly).
That being said, I did notice an improvement in hydration and shine. The scent is light and pleasant, which I really enjoy.
It’s not a product I would use every day, but definitely once or twice a week. It works perfectly whenever I curl my hair.
I would highly recommend it if you have dry or damaged hair.

I deal with dry, frizzy hair from hard water and I apply this to the ends of a my damp a couple time a week and it has worked miracles on my ends. My split ends are less noticeable and it definitely tames my frizz. Even washing my hair the day after applying the oil, my ends still stay soft and sleek looking. It does not make my hair greasy or weight it down. It has a slight fragrance to the oil but it's not unpleasant. One small pump will cover quite a bit so this bottle will last quite awhile with regular use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always on the lookout for a product that’ll help transform my dull, frizzy hair. Something that’s easy to use, and quick to apply. I’ve seen the Redken brand on store shelves and in advertisements. This is the first hair care item from them that I’ve tried.
This item is packaged in a Plastic bottle with a pump top. The top turns to open or close it, which is nice so I don’t accidentally pump it unintentionally. The directions are written on the back. The words are a smaller size print, so for some it might be harder to read. But the way they are written it’s easy to understand.
This product has a very nice scent. It reminds me of suntan lotion, tropical, and beach smelling. Though I can say after I’ve put it in my hair there’s not much scent. I wish you were able to smell the product hours after putting it in my hair.
The argon oil is silky goes in my hair easily. I’m able to distribute it evenly throughout my hair. I’ve used my hands and a brush to do this. After applying it, I don’t notice any oily spots from it. My hair is particularly dry, so the stuff is perfect for my hair. I do have thick, wavy, and long hair so I do use multiple pumps of it at a time. Even though I do use multiple pumps, a little bit does go along way.
I like the results best after my hair has dried slightly after a shower and I add this. I have also use this on completely dry hair and do notice a big difference. I also like that you can use this with your styling products so I can blow dry my hair and get better results.
I overall like this product and will definitely continue to use this, especially on my worst hair days.

You don’t need a lot, I used 1 pump which was almost too much for my thick medium length hair. It made my hair soft and was the perfect finishing step. There’s a light scent which is nice. It leaves my hair hydrated, soft, nourished and shinning after use. I have use it twice straight after I had just towel dried my hair as an heat protectant before heat exposure, and it would leave my hair feeling conditioned, super soft and shiny for few days . No fritz or shrinks and comb would slide through my scalp without pain.

I put it in my hair when it was damp but it didn’t look like I put anything in it once it dried and was still frizzy. I did like that it didn’t weigh my hair down and make my hair overly oily. It might work better for finer hair but for thicker textures, there are other oils that I would use before this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in this awkward phase of Brazilian blowout grow-out. My hair is somewhat thin and very wavy, so this means frizz and kink without the ability to air dry and scrunch, and the softness is mostly gone. Luckily I had the opportunity to test this product through Influenster at exactly the right time! It’s not as heavy as many other oils I’ve tried, but thick enough to not leak through your fingers as you’re pumping it from the bottle. The scent is so so lovely - I haven’t used Redken in awhile and forgot how much I enjoy their signature scent. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, and brings back some of that softness I had in the peak days of my BB. It’s “just right”. Definitely recommend!!

The oil is not too heavy and it's effective to hydrate hair ends and take frizz. I normally use it on damp hair after hair wash to keep my hair subtle and in place. While my hair was dry, it made my hair greasier the next day, which I didn’t love. While my hair was wet, I used it before blow drying my hair and the oil worked much better. This oil made my thermal round brush easier to use for blowouts. I will say that the smooth hair effect didn’t last for too long, when I went outside, my hair was frizzy again after 2-3 hours. If I used more of the oil, then my hair would get greasier quicker, which also wasn’t ideal. I believe this product is better suited for folks with drier hair, less oily scalps. Overall, I think the product was okay, I give it a 7/10.

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .
My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.
I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
