[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect pomade I have found for my daily hairstyles. I like the fact that it is water-based and the hold it gives my hair. I do not ever wear extreme styles, so I use it to tame my hair down and give it a little style in the front. This pomade does that without it looking super shiny, crunchy or wet. It says it has a low shine, and it's just that. Nothing too noticeable, but yet I feel just makes my hair look healthy. Not super shiny, yet a healthy look. Great medium hold and for the price point it can't be beat.

Since I've been using hair gel/pomade for years, I was blessed to be able to use different products: both American brands and Japanese, Korean beauty brands. To be honest, the quality of this pomade isn't as good as couple of top brands from Asia. It's leaves greasy look that's unnatural & my hair didn't look good at the end of the day. Unless the price point is competitive, I wouldn't purchase it over the other brands that I've been using for couple years.

I applied a small amount into my hand and then applied it to my hair. My hair was easy to style. The Pomade gave my hair a rich luster and sheen which looked absolutely fabulous. The scent was very pleasant and remained throughout the day. Just a small amount worked into dry or damp hair will give you the control you desire. I will definitely be buying more after I am done with my sample.I'll recomend.

And, as I can say, I can achieve this with Reken! I tried shampoo and it works well for me, so I decided to give some other products a try as well. After using their shampoo and finish it with this pomade my hair looks awesome! I don't have much of it but it add some needed volume, as well as hold pretty well, nor for a long but that works for me. So far I'm very happy, will see how it works in long run.

Using my fingertip I start out with a small amount rubbed between both hands adding additional cream as needed. The Pomade Cream had a very light pleasant scent with a great hold that last's without any greasy or stiff feeling. I have used several products on the market gels, oils, and creams but Redken Brews Cream Pomade is far superior.

Sometimes, however, I need to be a bit more presentable, and love to have a good product to keep my hair where I want it. The Brews pomade worked really well for me in initial styling. I didn't need to use too much product to get a good hold, which is really nice because a lot of the time I find when you need a lot of product, you get a greasy finish. It gave my hair a nice dulled shine, which is the result I look for. The hold lasted throughout a work day, although by the end of the day it was starting to go a bit flat. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was the lack of scent. Hair products naturally have a scent and it's not that pleasant. A little menthol like in the shampoo to give it a nice scent in your hands and hair would do wonders.

I feel like it has a good balance of having a hold for my hair and also allowing it to be moved and styled. It doesn't feel too greasy as well. I smells great and the other pomades I have tried are very creamy which I didn't like as much. This pomade on the other hand was nice and thick texture, easily spreads throughout your hands and the application process was easily. I love it! I will definitely be buying more after I am done with my sample.

I have thin wispy hair on top. I am also thinning. When my hair gets longer, it goes everywhere. I've tried so many other products, muds, putty's, gels, pomades etc. and nothing ever worked like I wanted. I bought this on a whim, and I am glad I did. It light and has great hold. I use it every day. A little goes a long way. This is my forever hair product. You should at least try it.

However the Redken pomade makes your hair looks great with a slight shine with no sticky or oily feeling. It's smells great and gives your hair a fresh clean scent. I will never use another hair product ever again.

I can still push it around and maintain a good look. It's not greasy and doesn't really have a smell, which I don't want. My hair is about two inches on top which I part and push to the side ... works like a charm!

Good: it wasn't greasy, it held for a long time, it didn't have a smell. Bad: wouldn't be a good starter routine. My wife (Caucasian) styles her hair daily and she says this is a product she could use regularly.

I've tried using it on both damp and dry hair and I do suggest applying it on damp. Its more manageable this way and would not stick out and looks crunchy as if you used gel.
