Beach Spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I want to say I LOVE the scent! The smell is delight, fresh and it lasts so long on my hair. Second, the product is so good! My hair is typical straight Asian hair. I've tried so many hair spray in the past, but none of them has a strong hold as Redken Beach Spray. I spray the product on my dry hair and wait a few minutes before start styling. Once it dries up, my hair is so smooth and wavy and it doesn't feel crunchy at all. It just looks so natural and soft. After 8 hours, I can still see my curls, which never happens before! So if you have straight hair and want to have beautiful curls all day, I would recommend this product. ❤️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had much luck with beach wave sprays but was very hopeful this one would be different. I have thick naturally wavy hair. To begin with, I thought the product would have a more "beach" smell than chemical. It wasn't an unpleasant smell just not what I was expecting. I read the directions and applied to my damp hair. I try not to heat dry my hair so allowed it to finish drying naturally. This product was heavy in my hair and left it frizzy, knotty, crusty feeling, and hard to style (like pull into a ponytail). I had to wash my hair the next day - which I usually only wash every 3 days. I have more luck creating beach waves with letting my hair dry naturally in braids than using this product.

I sprayed it all over my wavy hair and then turned my head upside down and scrunched my my hair to get the most curls out of it without having to use a diffuser. As you can see from my pictures of my dry hair without product, just washed hair, hair wanted and brushed and hair after half the product and scrunched up, the product makes gorgeous curls out of wavy hair. The only thing I was disappointed in was the smell of the product. With it being called Beach Spray, I would had hoped for a more pleasant scent and less chemical smell to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Redken Beach Spray as part of a promotion for my review. I was looking for something that would help me with my wavy hair. I either straighten my hair or curl my hair. After washing my hair, I let it air dry which is the way I prefer for less frizz. I use the spray which smells very good, by the way in my opinion. I worked it into my hair and combed it out with my fingers. While my hair was drying every once in a while I would crunch the hair for definition. Maybe my hair is too long but I can't say that I would use this again the end result was kinda Ugh. It did not leave my hair crunchy or flaky, so I was able to still style it the way I liked it for the next couple days.

My only issue is there is a slight crunchy feeling but that can be resolved with more scrunching of my hair! Love the ease of spraying my hair after my shower and letting it my hair air dry into easy waves! Now my hair is summer ready thanks to Redken!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product so much! Comparing this product to other beach sprays for you hair, this one works way better than any other brands I've tried. I can get out of the shower, pool, and even the ocean, and spray this on my hair and go about my day. It doesn't leave my hair crunchy like others do, and it gives you those beach waves that you love! This spray makes me love my hair more and give it the waves that I expect a product to give my hair. It smells amazing and I can't stop using it! Beach waves all summer for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised at how easy to use the Redken Beach Spray was. I just sprayed it into my damp hair after showering and that was it. No scrunching, no tools, no extra products and I immediately saw my hair picking up curl while still wet. The spray is easy to use at any angle and it is lightweight and has a fresh, clean perfumey scent that is pleasant but not overpowering and only lasts while spraying. Once my hair was dry, I got comments about whether I had used a curling iron, that's how defined my hair was. It has a bit of a dried gel product feel, so it holds the style but still looks natural. I will definitely keep using this on wash and go days.
