[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this shampoo on and off for a couple weeks now. I love the packaging of the product. It's unique and modern, but also masculine. I get a feeling like I'm at an upscale salon when I use this shampoo. It has a good clean masculine scent to it. My only reason for taking off a star is that it truly is extra extra cleaning - was drying out my hair when I used it too many days in a row. I'm an avid runner and need to wash my hair just about daily. I wouldn't say this is a daily use shampoo, least not for me. But it truly does leave your scalp and hair very clean and fresh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this shampoo! For myself having buzzed hair it's important to keep a clean scalp to prevent acne. For the other half he has a head full of hair that is also fine and he particularly likes that it removes buildup from his use of styling products. He loves the scent of this product! Something else I have discovered, for my own personal use, is that this shampoo doubles very nicely as a face wash. A little does go a long way so way to go Redken for creating a product that does what it says, will last a long time, and uses recycled materials for the bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the bottle that this shampoo comes in it sets itself aside from anything I've ever seen or used! The shampoo itself also does the job it's supposed to do. It moisturizes, lathers and softens my hair like no other. The shampoo is pretty thick so your not using that much at all so it lasts a lot longer than anything else I've used, a little goes a long way with this product. I usually have really dry hair and skin and this makes me feel better.

At first, I thought that the scent would be too strong after use, but it ended up being clean and fresh, with no complaints from my wife. There were no ill effects. I can't ask for anything more in a non-dandruff shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Redken Brews Extra Clean Shampoo mostly because I'm a guy with long curly hair that requires a lot of product to keep it from being too frizzy. Lots of shampoos add additional layers of "gunk" to my hair that leave it swinging too far the other way and weigh it down.
I loved the scent, the packaging gives "shower beer" a new definition, and after using it I could definitely tell how clean my hair was which gave me a great platform for using my other products. If you're the kind of person that feels the need to wash their hair every day, this isn't the shampoo for you, but if you're like me, who washes their longer hair every few days and uses products, this is a great pickup.

Guys, STOP. Stop right here. Get this shampoo!!! I loved this so much that I bought the 33oz. bottle!!!
The smell is wonderful. Truly wonderful. Kind of smells like an Abercrombie store!! (not exactly but it smells great!)
I use this to strip my hair of all the bad product I put in it and it does a great job. To be truthful, not as good as Sebastian Stark Naked Shampoo was - but since that's been discontinued I needed a product that could get rid of the clay/wax out of my hair and Redken's Clean Brew Shampoo does it well!!!!

And the list goes on. I love that it cleans the hair and scalp without blowing open the cuticle and drying the hair out. This is a must have on every shower shelf!

My husband, we'll call him Sal, works in construction. He wears a hard hat 6 days a week and sweats a LOT. He was finding that his Suave for Men shampoo and conditioner combo just weren't cutting it. His hair still felt dirty, and the creases from the hard hat seemed like they'd never come out. Enter Clean Brew. I bought it on a whim at my salon and told him to give it a shot. He loves it! I love the way it smells, and his hair has never felt cleaner. If you're a physical worker or just find that you sweat a lot, this shampoo is legit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is better than Head & Shoulder product. I always thought Head & Shoulder would help with my dandruff, dry & itchy scalp, and cleans my hair better, but Redkens Brews does an awesome job. It cleans and leaves your head smelling nice.
My brothers and my father used this product and they really could tell how big of a difference they wanted to use this product. They literally used up all my Redken Brews shampoo and wanted more!
My whole family gives it a 5 star rating, making Head & Shoulder look like nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is effective and delivers exactly what the description claims. It will get your hair "Extra Clean" and really remove that product build up and extra oil/dirt/grime from your scalp and hair.
The aroma is light, masculine, and pleasant, albeit smelling artificial; whether that something you care about or not, it should be noted.
This is a great price point for a professional line and some nice ingredients that are beneficial to the hair.
This is obviously appealing to the male demographic since its name is "Brews" and its in the shape of a beer bottle.
if you're a guy and you want something that's more focused on the male demographic...this is a solid product.
I think its a good point to note (if you have a beard) this can also double as a great beard cleanser!

I like the beer theme right down to the bottle, and it's not just a gimmick. I have full, thick hair and I like the clean feeling I get all the way down to my scalp after every shampoo. Brews has a great smell and plenty of lather that doesn't strip my hair and leave it dried out. I like the masculine scent and the clean fresh feeling after every use. I especially like that a little goes a long way.

One of the better hair shampoo I've ever tried! The smell of the shampoo makes this a treat and the after feel from washing the hair is pretty good too. It cleanse the scalp very well and let's your scalp "breathe" again if there is such a thing. I think this is especially good for men who uses plenty of styling products and wanted a deep cleansing shampoo that conditions the hair and clarifies the scalp simultaneously

My husband loves this shampoo! For 7 years we have searched for a shampoo that would actually make his hair smell good. Every other shampoo we have used left my husband's hair smelling like his scalp! The smell is great and he only has to wash his hair one time compared to the other shampoos that did not even make his hair smell good! I highly recommend this product to men with oily skin, it really cleans the scalp!

I do not have really oily or dirty hair, so I plan on using this after a long workout or yard work. After the first couple uses I can tell my hair is cleaner and feels great. All of my male clients and the men in my family rave about this product. My son swears it's the ONLY shampoo that works on his "dirty/greasy hair" and makes his scalp feel super fresh and clean. They also like the scent. It's out of stock, right now, too, and they're having a meltdown because they have to use something else. Great shampoo. DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS ONE! PLEASE!

Smells amazing! Refreshing woodsy citrus scent. I love the cute bottle! Very manly! I love the lather on this. You only need a little shampoo. Bottle lasts for a long time. The bottle has a good shape and is easy to hold. My only gripe is that it was quite viscous so I needed to use more than I expected to cover my full head of hair. Otherwise I couldn't recommend it more!

The Redken Brews series is wonderful. Cool packaging that gives you that high end beer feel. There is actually malt in this line. The smell is incredible. The effects clean works great. It will take out all the built up product residue or chlorine in your hair without ok over drying it. I cut men's hair and use this whole line.

This is my favorite shampoo of all time! It is easily the best smelling I have ever had but it is also great at cleaning out product. When my sister recommended this for me I thought all of them cleaned the same, that's not the truth. I would recommend this to anyone whether they use product in their hair of not.

I got this for my boyfriend to use awhile back so I asked him what he thought. So since he gets dry scalp, which leads to dandruff, he said that this made his dandruff go away and make his scalp feel less itchy as well, it smells wonderful and in our opinion is worth the money!

I’m writing this for my husband. We have tried SO many different shampoos for him. His hair gets oily quickly, and this shampoo has been absolutely perfect for him! His hair is soft, manageable, and actually has body instead of being weighed down all the time. He’s hooked!

Takes all the copper out of my blonde colouring which is exactly what I wanted!! Doesn’t smell chemically or strong and doesn’t leave my hair feeling gross and tough afterwards like some purple shampoos. Plus it’s way cheaper than some other salon brands

My boyfriend has hair just as greasy as I do and he also has some volume control issues (natural waves). This shampoo leaves his hair clean and not heavy enough to feel greasy, but not light enough to cause styling issues. Plus, it smells great.

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
