I am 61 and had been trying to grow my hair out for such a long time with little luck so that I could have it styled in a classy updo for my son’s wedding. It finally dawned on me that it was breaking off probably due to high heat styling tools (dah!). Girl at Ulta highly recommended the Extreme line telling me she used it herself with great results. After only six weeks my hair has improved dramatically and grown noticably longer!! I highly recommend this Redken line!!!

After damaging my hair with a cheap hair straightener (to it's defence, I went from hair drying my full head of bog curls to straightening my stress-induced brittle hair several times a week). It SAVED MY HAIR. I've been using it for almost a year now, together with the sealer and can honestly say that I haven't had a single split end since. My hair was breaking mid-shaft and is now growing healthy. Love.

I use this product religiously with the sealer. I am amazed at the difference it has made on my hair. The price seems like a lot for these little containers but they last FOREVER, you only need a small amount and it really makes a difference on your hair. My hair just all around feels healthier and seems to have grown quite a bit! Definitely would repurchase!

This product is amazing. It makes your hair feel so soft after using and there’s a noticeable reduction of split ends and damage. I use it once a week followed by the Redken Extreme Length Sealer Split-End Treatment. I find that it is similar to an olaplex hair treatment but you don’t have to keep it on as long. I love the redken extreme line!

I have been using this Primer for a while now and I absolutely love it! My hair is healthy and it really works to make it long. I have never commented on product but I love this so much that I felt it deserved a review. Well done Redkin, thanks for making this product.

Absolutely love this product I have naturally curly frizzy hair and even though this is a primer it has worked extremely well for my hair..I have even been able to just shampoo use this without conditioner and it leaves my hair smooth soft and with a beautiful scent

This is a GREAT product. My husband noticed how quick my hair has grown since I started using this product. Extreme length also makes your hair feel full and soft. The smell of the product is light and pleasant.

I was using this for years, I love it. It makes my hair super soft and shiny. I tried buying it this year and couldn’t find it anywhere. I see it’s still on the website so I’m going to look for it again.

Damaged my hair

It fried my hair gave me a color chemical burn. My hair has never gotten damaged from using shades eq this was my 1st time using shades eq plus bonder . My hair strand elasticity strength is weak and breaks off and coils back crunchy , it feels like gum
I used it as directed and I don’t have any medications and it felt horrible while I rinsed it with just water before I used my vegan shampoo
It’s been a horrible experience, I’ve been using non permanent hair color for a couple years now to regrow natural healthy hair. And now my entire hair strand is damaged. I contacted redken directly and the rep was rude and kept talking about herself and how she’s a chemist and she burns her hair off and blah blah blah. Very rude I’m literally in shock .
No, I do not recommend this product.

My stylist uses this on my hair when I get my balayage lightening. Rather than paying 80.00 for a toner application only between full services, I decided to try it at home. Mixed it exactly as was described using 2 bonder colors (9V and 10GRo), 000 crystal clear, and the processing solution. Applied to clean, dry hair and left it on for 20 minutes. May hair looks like I just left the salon. It is shiny, soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I realize doing a home hair color job is not always recommended and can be done incorrectly, but I followed all the directions and it came out perfect.

DREADFUL PRODUCT!!

I used the product a week ago. It made my hair extremely, dry, fizzy and stiff -- more like straw than hair. I to correct the situation by using deep conditioner, mask, your 25 Benefits One United in an attempt to reverse the damage/condition -- no improvement. I couldn't be more upset, worried, unhappy and at loss as to how to restore my hair to its previous state..
No, I do not recommend this product.

Crap product

I used the shades eq gloss and the gel product with it and my hair is HORRIBLE now. The color is cute but my gorgeous soft long hair is freaking straw now. I can’t even wear it down it’s so staticky. Redken ruined my hair
